How do you guys deal with scratches that want you to go in the same direction multiple times? I always let go and repress the button, but it only seems to work half the time; there's gotta be a more efficient way.

Yeah, I do the same thing. I always seem to screw those up, no matter what. I also have the most difficult time with the cross fade spikes (don't know if that's the right term) I hate them so much.

You get used to those eventually; an easy way to practice would be double Scratch Pervert's remix of Galvanize on Hard/Expert since there's such a large section with almost nothing but those. Once you can get through that section with little error you should be able to do them a little more efficiently.
