Yeah this lack of sound from the game is crappy and the commentators are pretty boring this time around. Someone needs to get these guys a capture card/software or something... ;/

:/ they should have done another FF marathon rather this mario shit, hell they aren't even filling this time with Mario related content.. They're playing videos from Youtube on the stream, awesome! I didn't know doing that could get me money for a fund raiser for autistic people.

    edit -

    Monday 6am-9am – Ninboy
haha I didn't think he was going to come back, last year during FF fest I commented on his dirty nasty hair and he nerd raged and he didn't come back on after that tho he was suppose to, going to see if I can accomplish this again.

I wouldn't have heard of this unless I saw the banner today. Felt like playing along with a few of those games. Might just race em on one of the future titles. :D

Yeah last summer it was FF for ACT-Today.
    This.
We advertised the FF one last year, worked out well and they thanked us on air, since everybody loves mario here too we did it again.

They've completely failed :< It's more of a Joke then an attempt to be serious and actually rise money, yesterday rather showing mario rpg some douchebag was playing youtube vids over it >_> not like there has been any audio for majority of the games, because 'oh we think you should hear us commentating only rather drowning us out with jump and coin gathering noises'

Glad I changed my mind about donation, I guess the people who have autism can go another year, maybe next year they wont fail so hard, and hopefully do a series of games, that you can fill every slot with actual game play that is the slightly interesting.

Their FF marathon was pretty entertaining, and I had it in the background for the majority of the week, but this one is just sucking horribly.

Congratulations on feeling good about withholding cash from a charity because you weren't entertained enough by guys playing video games?

They're pretty clearly playing shit out of order, probably because of runner availability. They already finished Luigi's Mansion, something they weren't even scheduled to start until Wednesday. Maybe then you'll get your precious Mario RPG conclusion.

Honestly, I understand your disappointment, I also thought this would be more on the level of last year's Final Fantasy marathon, but comments like the one in the second paragraph are more than unnecessary.

No one's entitled to anything, I appreciate at least their effort to put up a bit of a show instead of just asking for donations. If you don't like it, you don't donate; your choice, that's fine, but don't make it seem like it's their fault that the autistic people get less donations because you can't be bothered to donate for something that does not quite match what you were hoping for. That's just way, way below the acceptable. They could have done better, sure, but at least they're doing something.

The flaw I see in this is that in the FF marathon it was their best/highest/most popular marathon to date, it will be hard to top such a marathon again due to the undeniable popularity of FF, therefore anything else after was never as popular despite what it is.

I can't imagine what else would generate as much donations/viewers again for a while.

I donated last year due to the Vegemite shakes, if they bring it out again, I'll donate but for what I'm being shown and ask to donate, nah wouldn't bother, I'd kill to see some vegemite smores or something along the line haha, but sadly, whenever I try and say I'll donate to see something, the moderators think I should be kicked or banned from the chat, can't begin to go on about how many fucking user names I have for their stupid chat now.

It was also the perfect storm of being during a week where FFXI had a major update with a lot of downtime, and WoW had an update with a lot of downtime too. Not to mention they got on the front page of some very popular WoW website and they had over 10k people watching the stream and crashed it, lol.

I think the most enjoyable games have been ones they have done speed runs on. A lot of Mario games are just too similar, or don't really excite me too much. I'm sure I could find speed runs on youtube or in other places, but I enjoy supporting them and have left the marathon open when I'm not busy.

On Friday, they are doing a <15 minute run of Super Mario World which interests me.

edit: They are now on MMO-Champion, much higher chance of them getting their donation goal now.

I was just about to ask who else started to advertise them on their website because I'd never seen the viewers hit 3k. And right now its over 8k. They should definitely hit their goal now.

Was peaking 16k when I went to take a shower. Think they are getting a lot from tweeting the E3

    edit: 17.5k now
