With all these people they really aren't pushing donations ...like, at all. Heck, they've only gained 2k since I went to sleep at 3am last night, and it was rising faster then than it is now and there were only 1.3k people watching then, lol

Local's going to be eating a spam and vegemite sandwich at some point this evening; they got to 32k.
Sandwich being assembled!
Someone pointed them to BG. ;o Shout-out: get.
They eating the 5 pound gummy bears now.
I am sad they didn't stuff the gummy bear down as fast as they could till they puked.
They're doing ghost pepper milkshakes later. The problem they had with the gummy bears was that they kept them in a fridge, so they were much tougher to eat
Hey guys, sorry about being absent haha.
First I wanted to thank you all for watching our marathon and donating to help ACT Today. We really appreciate all your help.
Second, Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and it's not my place to discredit or argue with those of you who don't/didn't like our marathon. I will say, however, that having also been in the FF Marathon, I can say that this marathon has been a lot more fun than the FF Marathon.
Either way it's all for a good cause, and I implore all of you who don't like our marathon to do their own. Not because it would show you how much planning it takes, but because perhaps your way of doing marathons would be more successful than us in raising money for a charity...and that's really what it's all about.
Thank you guys,
Local
Bleh, was busy today and missed the speed run and normal run of Super Mario World. =( Oh well, at least Phil got the last star in SMG2 faster than me.
~$3800 away from their goal. Gonna be close.
lol don't worry about the one grumpy person in the thread, local, it's been an awesome marathon and I've enjoyed watching the whole thing (except most of today which happened to be my sisters birthday).
I am disappointed that you guys haven't done another FF marathon, and it surprises me considering that seems to be the one that really shot you guys to fame. I can sort of understand because you guys really missed the actual goal of completing the game list by a lot, but you guys should do one with the other half of games that you didn't get toand of course add in the fanboy ones like 7 so people will donate thousands just to name everyone Sephiroth, lol
Ya, FF would be cool but really I try and watch them all. FF was their big draw to fame when it spread to almost any FF forum and even the larger wow forums ~_~ lol they hit 20k people that night I think?
Its also a lot of work to set up and keep their people going for 7 days like they had to for this one and the FF one.
Willing to bet at some point they will go back maybe after a few more FFs are out (you know what im talking about)
I love your marathons, especially the week long ones gives me something to check out everyday and enjoy. You play games for charity, people who bitch should not go to your website in the first place, but i guess that's the answer to all interweb drama. Anyways keep them coming shit is great. I can understand how playing Mario for a week straight might be more fun then FF, but I enjoyed the FF marathon the most, shit was epic to me checking in everyday w/ a new FF, love the series, DO ANOTHER!!!!!!
Marathon ending !!! ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN !!!
Edit: nvm someone donated 1k at the last minute to push it over another extention lol
lol they are still going. donations have put them 13h over the deadline. they broke the goal too, $54k atm
and the next week-long-marathon will be star wars
Im happy to see they hit the goal(even if they cheated!) ~_~ cheating for a good reason tho.
