Computer making my room too hot lol

If you want to try a different case out then try the Cooler Master HAF X, it'll be out really soon sometime this month. Maybe you just get hot though while playing games that are intense? I know i burn up while playing FPS games. Get a window air conditioner unit though regardless and if you can put a fan infront of it to accelerate the cold air towards you then that will be perfect. If you want an extreme option then look into oil cooling your computer. It involves submerging all of your hardware into a tank filled with mineral oil.

I deal with a similar issue, small third floor room which I use as my office, ends up being far and away the hottest room in the house. I do not however have the window unit option, and I refuse to jerry rig some cardboard tube system. The only way I've dealt with it is a nice fast ceiling fan, and opening the window. For the summer where it's too hot to open the window I just keep the door to the room wide open and throw the ceiling fan on full tilt. The community I live in does not allow window A.C. units out the front(or the back really), and I believe they would frown upon a tube hanging out the window. It was great in the winter, as I can just turn off the central heating register in the room and it stays warm. You would be surprised how much a good ceiling fan can do though.

It's $200 now, and I think I paid $140~ because someone returned it after a failed install. A little bending on the fins, but totally worth the $60 off.

I cut a 3 inch gap on the bottom of my door which helps cool my room off alittle better than before. All across the bottom 3 inches from the bottom. As crazy as it sounds.

This is correct, there's a reason why houses try to keep sealed pressures within different zones. Even if its minimal.

It's not only a fire hazard but it turns that area into a death trap in a fire.
