So basically as long as I have the glasses, I can play the game on 3d?

I can't say I'm an expert on the subject, but I'd assume you'd at least need a modern screen and a computer that supports it.

I don't think this is the same technology as the new modern 3D is, where the screen refreshes both sides separately, which I believe is the technology the new Nintedy 3DS use, as well as the new 3D-ready modern TV's.

Don't take my word for it though - as I said, I'm no expert. But WoW started support for 3D a few years ago, so I at least assume they didn't start supporting it before they started developing monitors and TV's for it.

I'm not an expert, either, but I do know it has nothing to do with the 3DS. The 3DS doesn't require glasses - that's sort of its selling point.

Yeah, and I think the new modern 3D TV's use a different kind of glasses I believe, the "polarized" ones, whereas this technology use red/violet glasses, like the good old times.

I do wonder if FFXIV will eventually support both types of 3D, as the modern one with polarized glasses are better and provide better focus.

1 attempted, but I've only played as pugilist for a couple nights. Also a chance I missed a triple attack since getting haymaker to work has bugged me to death.

i got it to 20, and i have got it to proc like 3 times, problem is its not a miss you need, you need an EVADE, which i dunno what stats would increase it, and i dont see it too much, and im often in the middle of hitting a button when it does pop up. hopefully when they add the defensive or offensive stances to pugilist it will help with skills like that. i may have seen a triple, im not sure, have dedfinetly seen a single a couple times though, wonder if it has to do with comparitive speed.

Hate to get back on the 3D talk, but I just need to let it out.

First, Nvidia has 2 kinds of 3D available. The one they're trying to push across the market involves active shutter, polarized glasses. Paired with a 120hz 3D certified display.

The other one is the classic anaglyph glasses (red/blue tinted glasses). This one you don't need to purchase a new display, and works on any CRT/LCD screen. Just need to shell over the bill for the glasses (or build your own for 1/10th the cost).

If your pc can run the game in 120fps. Expect headache otherwise. I don't think it willbe a small feat in this case if you want to play with max graphic.

I noticed that there's 3 lines for hot-keys (macros?). If the system is the same as in Alpha, could someone explain how that works? Do you use Ctr and Alt along with number keys to activate them like in FFXI? If so, I wonder how that third line of hot-keys will work.

Technically the glad is dual wielding, but the offhand weapon is the shield.
