You don't seem to grasp that the people who would vote yes about believing in something so ridiculous that makes religion seem scientifically accurate should be embarrassed.

There isn't room for this type of bullshit in the 21st century. There's a reason nobody sits around wondering how they're going to turn lead into gold by using Alchemy in real fucking life. Similarly, there is no good excuse for believing that an arbitrarily defined cluster of stars will define your purpose as a human.

My boss however is Chinese and is obsessed with the Chinese calendar. She asked me tons of questions when I got engaged about what year I was and what my bf was and all other kinds of shit. she didn't seem like we were a "perfect" fit LOL, but was still happy.

Two guys kissing doesn't inhibit your ability to think critically about information you should accept or reject. Thinking critically is something that should be exalted in our society, not ridiculed. If I tell you that two guys kissing causes earthquakes in Haiti are you going to accept it? Of course not, you're going to insult me and tell me that there is absolutely NO PROOF WHATSOEVER between those correlations and the fact that I'm even saying it makes me a fucking idiot.

It's the same with astrology. Someone is saying something with absolutely no correlative basis and people are basing their life decisions off it and it is inhibiting progress, even if only in a very small way, it is still a progress inhibitor.

Two guys kissing isn't even a good comparison which means you really have no understanding of WHY people are mad about it. I don't care if it makes you warm and snuggly inside to think about these concepts but nobody on Earth should ever use this sort of ineffectual rational for a basis of anything, ever, in any circumstance.
