Summer Plans?

Spill it bitches. What's on the menu for your summer? The wife and I just got back from our first trip of the summer down to D.C. And lo and behold what just happens to break out? The Gay Pride Parade! I'm a fairly open minded guy but when I see a race between a bunch of gay men in high heels down Dupont Circle I can't help but think the Smithsonian's aren't going to live up to that entertainment value.

So here's what we hit.

National Crime and Punishment Museum - If you're into true crime and the history of it this place can't be missed. Though there are two major downsides. The first of which it isn't free. It's twenty a head. The second downside is you aren't allowed to take any pictures. Aside from that the place was amazing. Bonnie and Clyde's bullet riddled car, who's who in serial killers, etc. Awesome place.

Air and Space Museum - Remarkably hasn't changed that much since I was down there ten years ago. But I'm a huge WWII buff so checking out some of the WWII fighters was awesome. And if you were a part of the hispanic class that was in line in front of us fuck you all. Fucking tweens.

Natural History Museum - Once again too many little kids running around(we were there on Thursday, not even a weekend.) The mammal exhibit is fantastic. Other than that it was kind of ho hum.

American History Museum - I only went there for the war exhibits. Primarily the WWII exhibit. Smaller than I would have liked but still had some amazing pieces including a handful of Medals of Honor.

The Holocaust Museum - Sucked fucking donkey balls. Tickets to the main exhibit were sold out two hours in advance. The non paying exhibits were pathetic. If you don't have tickets don't bother going.

Stephen Hazy Museum - The massive hangar outside of Dulles airport. Absolutely phenomenal. Not to be missed if you're an aviation geek like me. They have some amazing planes in there including the SR-71 Blackbird, the Enola Gay, and a fucking beautiful Corsair. By far and away my most favorite museum.

I'm back in Cincy until early July, then Jersey/New York for about a week and a half. Then back to trying to get with this chick in Florida.

Only exciting thing that I am doing, is going to the Renaissance Festival for my birthday XD Other than that it's work work work till classes start back up.

Might be spending a few weeks at a friend's villa in Montalcino, Italy, but my schedule has been terrible due to summer school so I'm not entirely sure if it'll end up working out. I still have a decent chunk of cash in my bank account so I haven't bothered working yet this summer, pretty much just been summer school so far.

Sooo I'll probably be leveling stuff to 80. Maybe make a return to WoW for a while. Go to the beach that exists across from where I work (makes for a great Saturday afternoon, walk out the door and go swimming). BBQ too!

Well I was supposed to work but my job fell through right as May started. So right now I'm just looking for work and riding/racing my bike until something turns up.

Doing a lot of home improvement stuff while I'm out of college and home for the summer. odd computer jobs for cash, getting maybe 100 bucks a week if I'm really lucky.
2 weeks my mom dad, sister, grandmother, my girlfriend and I are going to the jersey shore, seaside (its a family thing, we've gone almost every year save the last 3, since I was a kid) and I'm looking forward to that since the gf has never been to the ocean before.

lots of bbq's, and beers on my porch (which I've just screened in, so it's badass)

There isn't much to do around here haha.

Oh, also doing p90x when I'm not recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed last week (kinda fucked that up )

Hopefully get my driving license after years of putting it off, maybe pick up an old banger (car not woman), and I'm going to find out if I can still skate with half my knee cartilage missing.

Hoping for one or two road-trips into Spain and a BBQ somewhere along the line.

Oh, and lots of Drinking. My liver hasn't been getting any exercise these last few months.

Altho I'll try to enjoy the (so far) warm weather after one of the coldest winters I can recall spent in a fucking forest most of the time. Even working is like a paradise after that shit.

For Otakon it'll be a Chrono Trigger cosplay group and Black Lagoon for me. The South Carolina and Florida trips will be drives, really looking forward to taking the vans down to SC with a bunch of friends using walky-talkys on the road and staying at a condo for 12 in north myrtle beach. Much mini-golf and beach drinking to be had.

i have already been to chicago and atlantic city i will go to the beach many times over, perhaps a trip to nyc when i know rykoshet wont be around. there are a wealth of options available to me brillo. i am thinking about taking a long weekend and going to naples florida to holler at this girl jen, she is a little thick but has a very pretty face. i will go to the local best buy and make love to her in the home theater department. life is god

going up north to Kirkland Lake for 10 days for some cottaging fun on Raven Lake, boating, tubing, wakeboarding, water skiiing, fishing, swimming, bbq of cuz, fire in the pits, probably some landscaping out there as well.

also plan on getting to Australia sometime before september with my new company, hopefully that works out.

definitely going to go on some skate trips with my bro and the crew, hit up Ottawa and Montreal again as well as Markham and Mississauga.

I had down to the beach (Belmar or Point Pleasant, NJ) once or twice a month June-August.


So far I've been down to Philly for business, on the way back me and the fiance stopped at Six Flags for the day. That was a blast since I hadn't been there in a couple year.

This past weekend we went over to the Bronx Zoo, had a lot of fun there as well.

We have a cruise booked for September, that is our big vacation this year. 8 Days out of NY, going to Turks & Caicos and the Bahamas.


Any weekend that doesn't have plans booked usually consists of what Kiro Mentioned.

Going to Olu Deniz in turkey for one week. Just me and the female, just a nice chilled out time in one of turkeys most beautiful resorts.

May go paragliding off a cliff side while there, depends. Mostly want to try new foods, snorkling and just generally let myself bake in the sun.
