Dude, this is my curse. Being a Cubs fan is one thing, but now it's affecting the city I live in and their prized young aces. And Jim Riggleman being the manager doesn't help, lol. At least Zambrano survived a decent amount of time before getting too crazy / fat / ineffective.

Any Sunday night is good for me. I also like the scoring we had last year, PIM is a fun stat because it rewards people who pick hybrid scorer/agitator guys like Niel, Burrows, Ott etc.

Ok our league has been made, the following 13 people (14-man league this year) should PM me for joining info:

These are the settings for our league:

Head-to-Head: 14 teams, top 8 teams make Playoffs.

Stats: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, SOG, W, Save%, GAA, Shutouts

No "Can't Drop" list.

No maximum player aquisitions or trades for the season.

4 player maximum acquisition for each week.

2 games played minimum for goalies each week or you forfiet all 4 goalie categories (to the new people, this is done so that if your goalie gets a shutout on Monday you can't bench your goalies the rest of the week and automatically win GAA/Save% and likely at least tie, if not win, Shutouts)

Roster positions: Same as last year - 2 Center, 2 Left Wing, 2 Right Wing, 2 Miscellaneous Forwards, 4 Defenseman, 2 Goalies, 4 Bench Slots, 3 IR Slots.

DRAFT: September 26th, 2010 @ 9:30pm Eastern, 8:30pm Central, 7:30pm Mountain, 6:30pm Pacific

13 or 14 teams with hopefully everyone participating should make this even more interesting than last year, where basically everyone who managed their team made the playoffs.

Its 14 or I'm axe'ing the 13th. Yahoo doesn't allow odd # leagues. Someone let me know if the link I'm sending out is insufficient to join the league, they have a new way of doing it this year it seems. Ive sent info to 4 people and still no one is actually in the league with a registered team yet.
