/sigh, with Marleau resigning I dont expect much of an off season now from the Kings unless we make a trade.

Hopefully the young players can keep getting better.

You mean you wouldn't trade that top 4 for my Jackets' Hejda-Tyutin-Klesla-Commodore top 4? lol Although Kris Russell will get some serious consideration for the top 4 this year and we've been all but assured by out GM that "big changes" are coming on our blueline. I'm expecting at least one or a combination of Tyutin/Klesla/Hejda to be moved this offseason.

Hejda and Tyutin are definitely underrated, would be happy to take one off your hands, lol. Take Tomas Fleischmann, he's good I swear.

They intentionally scheduled the Kings to open at home against Kovie's old team, and said they based most of the matchups on rivalries, playoff rematches, or otherwise 'interesting' matchups. Just sayin'.

I dunno, im really iffy on Kovie. He rejected 10 mil a year from ATL and I would not pay him that to come to LA.

Hint: he was rejecting the ATL part, not the $10m. He wants to win, and LA looks a lot like a team who's a Kovalchuk away from the conference finals. This is aside from the opportunity to play on a line centered by Kopitar, who would easily be the best linemate he's ever had, in turn probably increasing his own stats even more.

I still have money on LA giving him $8m/year in the 4~ year range.
