D-men are having a great free agency so far. Toni Lydman signs with Anaheim for 3 years/3 mil per.

At this rate Volchenkov's gonna want $8mil a year.
Caps prolly looking at mostly bringing up some Bears, though we have some expiring contracts down there too iirc. Would love Volchenkov but think his price tag will be too high. Carlson and Alzner will be great, hopefully Green keeps improving. Kind of expecting Mcphee to bust out a crazy trade and get rid of Semin since he was horrid in the playoffs. I think Beagle, Wilson and Gordon could be about ready to move up.
Caps actually have a ton of space to land Volchenkov(I love saying his name, sounds like an assault rifle), assuming they don't waste too much on Fleischmann/Fehr/Gordon.
NHL-N completely hating on Boogaard, lol.
Well there's a lot of misinformation out there. I still read stuff like how they're interested in a goalie, even though McPhee's pretty much guaranteed they're going with Varly/Neuvy. Wouldn't surprise me if they don't make a huge splash, but there are some needs to address. If we don't get Volchenkov or Hamhuis, I'd still be fine with a top 4 of Green/Schultz/Carlson/Alzner.
I don't really want Flash back, he is way too inconsistent. If Fehr can keep improving, I hope we can get him at a nice price. I'm back and forth on Gordo, love him but his back didn't do well last year. I do love Green/Schultz/Alzner/Real American Hero, would just love the addition of Vol or Ham to that group.
I hope Johansson at least starts the year in Hershey. He could use some extra time. Plus if we bring back Flash and Fehr, there probably won't be room for him on the top three lines, and he's just not a checking line type guy. I would like to see Perrault and Andrew Gordon up though.
I'm painting the ceiling of my house and listening to sports radio. After listening to all these stupid contracts i had to comment on BG. Lol.
700K to 2.ish Mill for a player that has shown little to no improvement. What does this do for Hodgeson?Forward Manny Malhotra has signed a three-year, $7.5 million contract
3M a year for Colby is a fair price.Colby Armstrong has signed a three-year, $9 million with the Leafs
Man, Montreal really shooting themselves in the foot. Keep there star playoff goalie or trade the "future" who really has no future. Lol.Auld to Montreal for 1 year
Niittymaki to the Sharks as another goalie will shine then leave a few years later and bomb somewhere else. Lol.
Ray Whitney to Phoenix, 2 years/3 mil per.
beaten!
Too slow again Callisto
Whitney to Coyotes 2 years, 6 mil.
Orz beaten, lol.
Interesting, heard Pittsburgh was also interested. I guess he won't get to trade 'Nam stories with Guerin now.
The "live Freen Agent Frenzy blog" at TSN's website is great. They're saying:
"Ryan Rishaug reports that the Oilers were in the mix on Malhotra and Boogaard until the money got too high for their liking. Potential trades could involve Souray going to a team like New Jersey, which just lost Paul Martin."
Poor TSN, they're just sitting here like WHAT THE FUCK HOW IS THERE NO KOVIE DEAL YET
Flyers are shown on CapGeek as being $60k over the cap yet having $577k in cap space, I'm confused.
Did ESPN go out for anyone else?
