We already decided we're doing the biggest league allowable by Yahoo, which is still only like 12 teams. And we have 15-16 people wanting to get in some there are going to be some cuts.

I've already selected the first 6 that are definitely getting in based on their frequency of participation of this board and another 4 of the remaining estimated 6 slots (we'll POSSIBLY go to 14 teams if Yahoo allows it) I'm 90% sure on. Thoronas/Ishido, since you two both (A) did it last year (B) want to do it this year and (C) are the most active forum posters that meet (A) and (B), if you two wanna PM me and give your input on who you think should definitely be in it, I'm all ears.

Geeze I'm being impartial as I can with this. I may act like a clown at times, but I'm going to do this fairly based on reasonable criteria.

This is the 16 people we have interested so far on my list, in order of when they expressed their interest - not in order of their chances of entry:

Now ask yourself, are you anywhere but in the bottom 4 most frequent posters on that list? If so, you're probably in, barring Brill and Ratapata coming out of the dark and expressing interest and making the bottom 6 out. The only exception is Palin, who isn't the most active sort of poster, but was last season's fantasy champ. But still, we all know who posts here and who doesn't, there will be very few, if any, surprises.

I posted a lot during Fantasy season and sporadically throughout the year. Think like 50 posts in the past 90 days, not a ton but definitely active. I troll HF boards the same way, lot of reading but not a ton of posting unless its something I'm relatively knowledgeable about.

Probably just don't notice me much because I haven't had an Avatar until recently.

There's some great information/discussion on there, probably the most active Hockey board I've found yet. The only problem is its members are 20% Leafs fans who stink up the place with "Kaberle for Ryan/Neal/Riberio/Savard" etc types of trades. Just hugely gross over payments for a 1 yr rental that they think is fair in their homerism. It's annoying.

Kaberle's NTC kicks in so he will probably be dealt before then, for a far smaller return than 90% of Leafs fans expect. But they will continue their mouth breathing ways, only talking about how they were ripped off instead of what they will get for him.

I'll probably pick up NHL for 360. I picked it up for PS3 last year and I didn't know anyone at all that had it. Although, I'm pretty terrible so it doesn't matter much haha. I haven't played much online and don't have a ton of experience with the features so this may be a pretty dumb question. But is there a feature to start a league on there where each person picks a team, drafts and plays each other?

And understandable about the Fantasy Hockey. It won't be a shocker if I'm not picked to participate. I didn't start posting in hockey threads on BG until the playoffs. Now it's one of the only threads I pay attention to on here. When do Fantasy leagues start generally? I was trying to find some information out on them and no one has any real concrete start dates available.

If there's enough interest (20+) we could split into two leagues the way football does BG East and BG West.

If we can garner enough interest to get two leagues running I'd be down to head the other one. I know that I would not be in the top 10 running for the first one if we split 10/10 (assuming we could get 20). I've never done it before but I'm sure that it is easy enough to figure out.

Yo you all know how I feel about authority, so you can probably guess how I feel about whiney bitches / ass kissers, so shut the hell up. Everyone. We took care of it. The list has already been determined. 75% probability (assuming 12 team league) you made it in. Over 90% chance if we can do 14 teams. You all should seriously know whether or not you'd be in. Do you post here? Do people, without looking at your avatar/sig, know what town you're from or what team you cheer for? If they do, you're basically in. All you mofo's acting like this Chince clown that no one's ever heard from before is gonna get in before you, you're ridiculous.

Seriously, just no more fantasy league talk til I make the official league page and send the invites. I hop on this thread and there's 5 new posts and I'm like "hmmm, maybe new revised kovie deal offer" or "hmmm maybe the Pens resigned Guerin finally" or "hmmm maybe Dany Heatley got his driver's license again finally" and FML its you people whining. I ain't even a mod and I think this is getting ridiculously distracting to the purpose of the thread. If we had a seperate BGFHL thread, sure, but we don't, so keep it low key til I make your day and invite you or bust your balls and tell you to take a hike.

I don't recall whining, bitching or ass kissing. I said I'd understand if I didn't get chosen out of the obvious people on this board that would make it, then asked when it started generally. I know that I don't post as much as Callisto, Ishido, or Sep and I didn't participate in the one from last year. So I obviously don't expect to just have my name thrown in.

That post was followed by Bregor's acknowledgement of the interest shown to possibly start a second league so that everyone could participate and I said that if we had enough people I would head the other one. That is all. Hell, if anything at least the thread is staying on the first page. Not much going on right now as it is. Every rumors website is saying the same shit it's said for the past month and a half. Kovie, Kovie, Kovie, Kaberle, Kovie, Kovie, Savard, etc.
