I don't think it currently offers online play, just the third period of SCF Game 7 like last year and a bit of the new Ultimate Hockey Team mode. Also ftr it's a pretty sizeable demo that takes a bit to dl/install, looking to be a total dl time of about 25 minutes for me, will see how long install takes after.

Also there are some achievements(not trophies but actual in-game stuff) that carry over to the retail version that I think may only be available via the demo, which is kinda cool

New trophies this time better be realistic. 80% faceoffs in an online game? Only way that happens is if your opponent falls asleep or leaves their controller. 2 breakaway goals in 1 game took awhile too. The goals should be like score 500 goals in VS matches, 50 goals with your character in position w/e mode, etc. Shit you work towards gradually, not things you have to retardedly change your style of play in order to specifically target (such as the breakaway trophy, the "Dump It In 5x in one game" trophy). Avoid individual game trophies for specific actions - shit like get a goal with an injured guy and "score a hat trick with any person" are fine though.

Worst ever: I'm in team select with random douchebag, he flips to AHL and picks a team, I want things to be a fair fight, I flip over and pick the Ice Hogs. As I'm pressing down to hit ok he flips back to the NHL and picks the Sharks.

I beat his monkey fucking ass 4-1, outshooting him like 35 to 6. Beating an NHL team with an AHL team is a trophy in NHL10, the fucking dickbag quits with 7 seconds left and I get robbed of it since it went as a DNF and not a win.

And if theyre going to put an alltime Francophoney team in, I want all-time Pens teams (and every other team besides like the Blue Jackets / Sharks / Ducks) cause Im not playing against coke-snorting Ken Dryden again, that goalie with the way they programmed him seriously could not be beaten unless you went up in the stands and held his boyfriend hostage to distract him and you don't even wanna know how many times you have to hit Triangle to do that.

oh god lol I misread one of the requirements to unlock some gear in NHL10 as 'beat the 100th Canadiens team on All-Star difficulty' when it was beat any team with them on All-Star, took me like 8 tries to finally beat them then realized I got nothing for it
