Is it possible to use Spirit Link after ws even before Wyvern depletes its tp by using breath?

In my experience trying to use Spirit Surge following a weaponskill, I couldn't do it ever, let alone consistently.

Anybody else not able to find out where to buy vision of abyssea at?

I checked the acquire optional service tab on playonline viewer and it just shows every expansion and add on except abyssea.

I'd guess on the "Play" screen on the bar to the right where it says Abyssea and the Token stuff, click that. Didn't buy it myself yet so not 100% sure, gonna wait until tomorrow and see what it has in store for it before I toss another 10 bucks at SE.

What is the potency of the additional effect weapons for Trial of the Magians? e.g. DEF Down, ATK Down, EVA Down, ACC Down. I recall reading ~10% but would like confirmation/sources/etc..

Secondly, I read that the proc rate of the weapons is tied to Delay. What is a rough idea of the proc rate for say a sword? Thanks for any answers.

Def down is 10%. Att down is probably also 10%. I believe the evasion down is -10 evasion, and probably -10 acc for the accuracy down.

No one has ever provided parse data on the proc rate of the weapons (despite the update of KParser designed specifically for that), that I've seen. I only have the H2H AE weapon, which is brokenly bad. Anecdotal info implies roughly 1 proc per 1000 delay for most other weapons, so the sword would presumably have something like a 24% proc rate.

I think if you start off disengaged and then engage, hit WS macro (might have to spam it, so it's the first thing you do when you re-engage) then after that goes off hit Spirit Surge, you'll get your pet's TP.

Wyvern won't WS unless its engaged, and it wont engage until you autoattack one round. Engage, but don't autoattack > WS > Spirit Link > Med > Jump > WS > Jump > WS = lol

BST is 66, go go smn burns, but I'm interested in the potential/fun of the job. I don't wanna fuck it up but am very interested in taking it to cap (80+ etc.) I have some decent gear for it when it get's to 70+ but for the next few levels, i'd like to learn the techniques of playing BST, I have some friends that can guide me but the questions I have are:
1. I assume my first priority is to get the 5 AF pieces?
2. I would love directions to a good spellcast for bst, I can build one, with variables etc, but It's so much easier and quicker to modify a pre-exhisting one (basically are there any that stand out on the windower website, that I should take a look at)
3. Any outstanding pieces of gear for these few levels i should look into getting?

Are the HQ pieces of the Khimara gear worth anything? or are they replaced/equal too AF or Relic pieces?

friend just got a new computer, windows 7 etc, just installed ffxi/windower.

windower is working, but when he tries to tab out, it crashes.

Math done by FM a while back showed that MV merits out did sublimation merits for damage. Grimore recast is a joke. Stormsurge (5) and share between Focalization/Enlightenment. I did 4/1 respectively, but the benefits of Enlightenment are not to be taken lightly.

no sir, at least not in Launcher_GUI, and he just reduced his resoluation in GUI to 90%, rather than 100% also, no joy.

I did Enlightenment 5/5 because I didn't want to spend merits on a gimped version of ES. Being able to emergency Erase in Dark Arts without having to use Light Arts + Addendum: White is very nice when the situation arises, especially if you're already under Addendum: Black and are low on Stratagems. I guess there isn't much need for lowered recast on that, though, so maybe I should look into unlocking Focalization just to have it.

I'd like to know if there is a way to force a version update even without being subscribed? There's some .dat stuff I'd like to do but I don't want to have to pay $12.95 (plus deal with tricking their idiotic credit card system) for the privilege.
