Wow i'm retarded. Apparently i had pdt gear on, and didn't notice it. Ss cap is still 350, at least at 76.

I'm getting a black box on my windower that stays; is there a fix to this (yet)? I remember getting this once before a year or so ago.
EDIT: Restarted windower and it wasn't there this time. Hrm.
Rog, I was wondering if you had time, could you do something like this?

The number on the current icon is obstructed by the timer for the "StatusTimer" windower plug in.
Also, it can be a little hard to read depending on what area/background it's up against, so it would benefit from a solid background I think...
I really have no idea how to mod .dats though... ><;
how much exp/notes does it take to maintain medal of altana if you wait till around day 30 to renew.
In my init.txt I have the line: "statustimer setposy 74" underneath "load StatusTimer"
It places the timers slightly lower so you can read the numbers on both the shadow count and on dance finishing moves. I think it might be a temp fix for you though because it doesn't address the issue of the background and the new position makes things harder to read if you have 2-3 rows of buffs.
I use st setposy 45 myself to move them up to the top of the icons, which i like quite a bit.
Have anyone seen how much Cure VI heals around for?
It depends on how much STR you stack on WS. For 90 WSC, the inflexion point is D106, and the better your ws gear the highest the inflection point ( they added sevral additional STR gear):
hagun=(75+16+90)*1.975=357
D106=(106+19+90)1.6625=357
[both numbers multiplied by the same factor overwhelm*pDIF]
Just got a chance to test this and my icons are still the same.
Here's what I'm getting:

I reloaded the original unedited 57.dat to get a picture of the icon with the 1.
Try http://www.filefront.com/16845253/57.DAT then. Not sure why it didn't work last time...
np, sorry about the 10000 mistakes.
Okay, so lets talk Dancer daggers.
So, there are several attractive options for dancer daggers that I've seen so far, and there may be more that I haven't seen. First, I'll toss out some that were added and I don't see a real use for:
1) DA+7 Dagger - Dancer should be using an OAT weapon if at all possible and we know that double attack doesn't play nice with these OAT weapons and this has 211 delay, so it's disqualified.
2) STR/Atk dagger - Impressive stats, but in a situation where you don't need accuracy, you could main hand the Abyssean dagger (D42/176 delay) instead of this (D38/190 delay) and have increased TP gain and main hand damage.
The interesting daggers:
1) Auric Dagger - D39, 201 delay, Enhances dual wield. - Obviously this depends on the potency, but it could be very cool. Could be a better DD weapon than the Abyssea weapon.
2) DEX/Acc dagger - D38, 190 delay, 6 Dex, 12 Accuracy - Well, wow. Don't think of this dagger as having Dex and Acc. Think of this as 4% Haste on a dagger, because it replaces your body armor and lets you wear Rapparee. If there is a situation where you are Acc capped with Sushi and full Haste gear, you could switch to Pizza +1 and still use this.
3) Abyssean dagger - Could be the best DD mainhand for capped Acc situations, and probably will be eventually.
4) OA2-3 dagger - We do not know the distribution for this, but assuming it is like soboro/m-kris, this is the best offhand for TP gain. The damage is not so great unless you get fairly high fSTR, which doesn't seem likely to me.
5) OA2 Dagger - Assuming this is the same DA rate as previously, it is better DPS than the OA2-3 dagger. You could dual wield a 2-hitting Athame and an OA2-3 dagger if you did the trials in the right order, but it isn't worth it in terms of TP gain or DPS. I'd say this dagger is essentially not worth having at the moment, though future upgrades may render it relevant again.
6) Cinquedea - This is still an awesome dagger for TP gain due to its low delay and STP. Cinq/OA2-3 is the best TP/sec of any dagger combo I've tested so far. That said, the DPS is rather laughable now with all the new daggers that were introduced, and main-handing it with the OA2-3 dagger leaves you with a D25 main hand. Still, if you need extra TP, Cinq/OA2-3 offers better TP/sec than Acc/OA2-3 until 70% hit rate. With moderately high fSTR again, this might not be so bad for DPS really.
7) Fusetto - D37, STP+8, 186 Delay -- Just noticed this one.... It gets slightly less TP/sec than Cinq/OA2-3, but does better damage and gives you a better main-hand base damage for WS. Depends what our main hand ends up being, but it could be very useful.
So those are basically the 6 candidates I see. I think I'll be getting the OA2-3 dagger (best TP gain, offhand it) and the Acc dagger while I keep my eye out for Auric dagger. I already have Cinq, so I'll keep it and use it when I need it.
Edit: Added Fusetto. I'll probably work on that too, just because nothing stops me from dual wielding it and breaking it while I break the OAT one too. I don't know if I'll take it to its final stage (500 Vermin doesn't overlap, and I'd lose the ability to go the WS damage path should SE release stuff next update).
