Ok i know that someone updated the FFxistyle thing so icons are colored and such, but how do i get it to work? I d/l the 57.dat that he posted and put it where said to but no go. Im really really dumb at this kinda shit

Restart ffxi. If you use a non english version, then it won't work.

I did, i actually did the swap when i was closed out of FF so Im not sure if i just put it in the wrong spot or if i am missing a step of what lol and i use NA version

You don't actually need to restart FFXI, I've dropped new .dats for the icons in mid-play, zoning causes them to update.

If nothing else works you might as well try tho.

If you specify where you dropped the .dat might help us tell if something's wrong.

Any good strats for the cordial invite/martial ball invite fights vs the various NPCs? Seems to be capped at 60, would like to give it a go lol.

/rom/119 is where i dropped it, moved and repleaced the other one that was in there

Don't think there's ever been any math more concrete than "Macro them in if you have them" as towards how effective they are. Might be wrong on that one, but either way I don't see any good reasons to not use them if you have them.

To someone who has no access to VNM's did this update release any weapon better than Hagun? I know Masamune and the OAT are better but both require VNM parts or kills.
