It's not completely terrible for mobs that you can't dd tank, since pld isn't going to be capping ce either. For anything that can be dd tanked, it's completely out of the question, since holding hate is kind of more important than self sufficiency, and other jobs will be able to keep hate capped.

All MDB translates directly into -% MDT, in the same manner as all MAB translates directly into +% Magic Damage. You'll notice shell (which is also a raw amount of +MDB) is often listed with a -% MDT.

I wish. Mine still doesn't understand Esuna, Sacrifice, Afflatuses, Fan Dance/Saber Dance, and a host of others. The windower folks don't seem to care to fix it.

Not true, they're calculated separately. Shell is MDT, not MDB.

Is there any way to get an anniversary ring for this year if you missed getting it during adventurer appreciation event? I am almost positive you could get it last year from a festival moogle but this year he won't cough it up. So, did I miss my chance?
