anyone else having this issue? CS seems borked I'm countering at half the rate that I normally do. all the appropriate swaps, af2 for CS, full counter set for ichi etc etc. I'm getting my face raped in a merit party this afternoon.

Can someone direct me to a detailed guide for Moblin Maze Mongers? Or possibly answer the below question. I read as much as I could but the ffxiwiki sucks on this topic.
My main issue is:
Somehow (possibly due to many hours of drunken playtime) I have acquired a Maze that has 3 levels of bird-family mobs. I took people through there yesterday adn we got about 6k exp for finishing (exp per kill and hoardbox). I have NO idea how I got this maze, the voucher or the runes... but I did.
(To be honest, I only remember doing MMM about 4 times before in total. But somehow I have like 150 marbles?)
The rest of the group I went with yesterday were all beginners at MMM and we did their Mazes. They were the <Maze Rune M01 [2]> starter mazes. There were only 2 levels of mobs and the exp was under 1k altogether.
I just want to be able to get them Mazes like mine so the 6 of us can go through an afternoon of MMM and get 6k exp per each person's maze.
Thanks in advance.
It's a premade maze you bought from Duplidoc in the gobbie shop in lower jeuno (maze tabula r02).
Talk to him > view copiable mazes > by theme > alpha > (name varies by server, usually the most popular one)
A question about the store tp since trying to do 5hit amano sam + keep it up after kaiten..
When doing store tp results formula, the first decimal, would be there or rounded up or down?
For example my normal kaiten ws set would give me 15.651 (with 41 total storetp: 5/5 merits brutal, rajas) but i'm getting a 16tp return per kaiten without double attack.
Every decimal after the first is rounded down. It's always rounded down. So in this situation, you'll be getting 15.6 TP returned per hit. Is the 41 STP including the aftermath from Kaiten? 41 STP + 7 aftermath is 48... 437 Delay gives a bTP of 11.1
11.1 * 1.48 = 16.428, rounded down will give you 16.4 TP per hit.
If the 41 does however include aftermath, double check your gear again. It takes a minimum of 45 STP to get 16 TP in returns, so you should have at least that including gear + aftermath.
EDIT: Little late @_@
Pretty sure there are just three steps to add maps into AP radar.
Firs you need to add the check for zone in ApneaControls.dll where you assign the zone with a specific ID (unsure if this is checked against FFXI memory code or just has to match Apnea's other map coding, my AP radar II folder goes up to 255 IDs).
e.g. white gate is <zone name="Aht Urhgan Whitegate" id="50" />
You would want to do <zone name="Abyssea - Tahrongi Canyon" id="256" /> or whatever the actual zone name comes up as.
Next you would open the map.ini file and add the zone and assign the specific map image to it, which would be the .gif which is alphanumeric.
You would then need to add the .gif for the abyssea or whichever zone, which you could find in the abyssea thread or on wiki.
If it's not a single map you would need to add position conditions for which one to bring, which you could use infobar to find if you're really that impatient.
I know I'm missing one step from where you take the control assigned ID and associate it with the specific zone for the map file, so if someone else wants to add in that step should be all you have to do.
Does the noscript VbV fix still work? Might not have enough money til the 3rd. :\
Does anyone have any information as /cor quick draw? Does it function like main cor or is there any noticeable nerfing?
Thanks Nightfyre, googling had failed me.
If I was interested in having Windurst control Ronfaure in conquest, would that be something possible to do solo? I was thinking of farming Ghelsba for equipment, then trading it to the outpost in W.Ronfaure.
What does it take to have a foreign nation control one of these starter zones?
Assuming I could get people for it, what would be the optimal party configuration for a party of bsts? bst/bst/bst/cor/brd/healer? Or maybe bst/bst/bst/bst/cor/healer? Always wanted to try a beastmaster based party on my cor, but I rarely see beastmasters seeking, as they've long since given up on being invited.
There's only three jobs that can affect your pets: cor (bst/pet roll), dnc (steps/flourishes), and rdm|whm for Dia I/II/III.
Ideally you would probably want a camp where you could charm mobs (which would also let your healer|support /bst). Barring premature WS, I would guess pets would hold hate for the most part so curing should be minimal.
If you were using jugs I would think that the BSTs own damage might be more evenly split with the pet, so you could potentially benefit more from a more standard setup with marches and melee rolls, but I might be underestimating the new jugs' damage on IT mobs (and their survivability).
Ideal ideal with local pets would be bst x 2, bst/dnc or dnc/bst x 1, cor/bst x 1, and brd/whm (dia'ing, hasting).
Minimum, I would think you would want at least one person able to dia and another person able to use box step and desperate flourish.
Nevermind, Google is my friend. Sorry to clutter.
I found the updated list files for altana viewer on KI's forums, but the link is dead. Anyone got another link?
Where is a good place to kill 50 spiders (that yield EXP at 75-76) under fire/wind/lightning/light weather? Boyahda is so-so, but lightning weather seems to be kind of scarce there.
