I did my beast trial for +15% cure Teiwaz in Bibiki Bay on Goblin's Rarab. There are 3 Goblin BSTs relatively close to each other: one right right where the mobs go from like level 30 to level 70, one around F-7, and one in the little passageway at F-7/F-8. I had to use Banish to kill, so it should go a lot faster for you since you are able to one shot with Thunder. This is obviously for Thundersday since Bibiki doesn't get Thunder weather.

My question: Do Abyssea NMs rage if you bring them outside of their spawn area?

You're looking at the level 75 one. Fully upgraded to level 80 it's 105 dmg 513 delay 6 str 20 atk. Which puts it well above perdu. I also forgot to mention before, but the STP magian scythe drops down a spot if you aren't /sam. So if you're like me and only ever drk/nin, str is probably the best option if you don't want to do the work for OAT or empyrean.

Boyhada Tree on Lightningsday is pretty good for beast mobs. There are plenty of rabbits to kill near Aquarius and a little further on.

Yea I had to do the same for my Cure potency one. I figured I could get all my kills done in the one day on this tiger, but I was wrong

No they do not. I've taken Chasmic Hornet outside of his spawn zone to pin him on RDM and he is relatively fine. Hits like a truck if you get caught during Frenzy Pollen, but fine.

    Much obliged, thank you.

Seems fairly conclusive to me, but if people would like further testing, I can test with the OAThrice sword.

I don't think so..but I can say I've noticed an increase in difficulty. Possibly in my head.

What spot have you found that's good for pinning in there?

Where's a place with a lot of EP-DC mobs to a lv37? I will love you forever if you answer this.

Fought him a bunch last night (got boots for me, but lost other fight).

Melee attacks have en-stun. Fevered Pitch goes thru shadows (doesn't wipe them) does the normal stun + def down but also dispels 1 effect. At low HP he'll spam Pitch back to back (sometimes 3x even) and it can be killer. Call of the moon seems to get worse with the intimidation the lower his HP gets too.

His pathing can suck near the mountain face to the east of his pop (where we fought him) but we were fighting him straight up, he moves faster than regular gnoles and was able to catch me with +12% with normal pathing.

Hits pretty hard even without CS (which I don't recommend using since pitch ignores shadows).

1st time we won we had RDM BRD MNK SAM PLD (me and BRD were 80, everyone else was 77-78 I think), was a rough fight, SAM died to pitch spam, but we pulled through solidly enough and got drop (yay). 2nd time we wiped, I guess hate didn't bounce around as well and melees got killed by consecutive pitches + melee attacks.

I'd recommend RDM+WHM (curebombs are critical with Pitch spam) and have a few melees that can share hate well, we had a PLD and I can say having Flash and emergency sentinel/cover was useful.

Don't know if he can be stunned since we didn't have one but it would help a lot if you can keep him from doing consecutive pitches. But idk how much Stun will help since it can be intimidated.

He seemed to not use Pitch while CalloTM was up but it may have just been because we were being intimidated too much to give him TP, I wasn't watching closely enough to be sure but something to consider.

Oh and the drop rate on pop item is pretty good (similar to bomblet mandy drop rate). We got 4 in a fairly short amount of time, the gnoles don't link with him or each other either.

I usually solo those levels at the Yuhtunga Outpost. It depends what job you're on (not good for a mage, for instance), but the Goblins are squishy, the Sahagin aren't much worse, the Opo-opo aren't too terrible once they're DC, and eventually the Crawlers become easy targets.

Whats currently the fastest method to test magic attack/accuracy, either or works, in a short amount of time?

Mab would be to nuke any mob with varying amounts of mab. Depending on how it rounds, you should only need 2-5 nukes total, preferably high damage nukes. Macc is kind of impossible to test in a short amount of time.

Monsoon season should be coming up in a few Earth days in the game. You can try rabbits in the Tree.

Regarding the Inlet, are you camping Giga's Tiger at E-12? There are two beastmasters close to each other. You can one shot the Tigers with Thunder IV.

So can anyone tell me if 5/5 Ninja tool expertise merits and the AF2 hands for NIN stack?

I don't see why they wouldn't but a friend seems adamant that they don't so I just wanna make sure.

    Serious Graphic Lag

AMD Phenom 9500 x64 Quad Core
    Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT (x1)
    nForce 590 SLI Chipset

I know there's problems with Quad Cores, QoS and HID, but the solutions I've seen isn't working. I'm hoping it might be a drivers issue, anyone have any experience?

    Someone verify my math?

    OAT + OAThrice + 15% DA:
    1(.51) + 2(.49) + 1(.425) + 2(.405) + 3(.17)
    .51 + .98 + .425 + .81 + .51
    3.235 swings per round,
*.95 = 3.07325 hits per round, assuming capped accuracy?
