Any easy mobs anywhere I can do for skillups at 80? I tried t1 vnm but I got everything upgraded. D:
What's the best secondary mod for SMN on ACP body?
Obviously I'm going Pet: Mab, Macc; but curious what the community ranks as next best.
I went for perp-2 on mine, I quite like it. I tend to use smn in situations I can keep my pets out full-time though, so keeping their perp cost as low as possible is awesome; others who use avatars in a more "pact and release" way may get more mileage from something else, though.
At 96 Delay, they're in a new TP tier too, FWIW...
Destroyers = 5.8905 TP/hit
Lunaris / Afflictors = 6.4646 TP/hit
Spharai = 6.3223 TP/hit
With Afflictors, you're adding some free swings from "Kick Attacks +7".
If Lunaris Claws are anything like Selene's Bow...
Spoiler: show
...then they are nothing short than amazing. Made even better if spellcast can read moon phase. (Can swap around accessories like a second ring and back to compliment the current effect of your weapon).
Not to mention they have 3 DMG on any other H2H weapon in the game aside from empyrean and upgraded relic/mythic.
Well, only if fstr is capped, otherwise tapian have 1-2 more dmg and in any situation where you get the +2, I'd look at it like a destroyers vs cross counters type deal.
Also, screw moon phase based item lol. I'd have to see it mathed out tbh. Tapians came out barely under verth based on Kinemetic's math.
What lvl of skillup? I was skilling up enfeebling at 300~ on wamoura princes, DC crap in the tree, and the T birds in mis. coast.
I agree, I typically hate weather/moon based items - but if it's like Selene's Bow and guarantees the ends of the spectrum are "Accuracy +5, Attack +25" and "Accuracy +25, Attack+5" - then it's definitely not a bad item.
Also, FWIW, I think I TP in 109 STR and WS in 111 STR. Hard to say how "good" that is towards capping fSTR I guess, since the Colibri metric is basically worthless now.
Edit to add: I love my Cross Counters still. I use them whenever acceptable (typically on NMs that strip shadows somewhat quickly). I'm hoping there's a higher level version of them down the road. I'm a total sucker for Counter gear. Too bad most of it is unusable in most situations. I have high hopes for Ultion Mantle though.
It depends what jobs you're skilling up. If you can handle it, I'd recommend skilling up to the ~78 cap on Aura Pots (they go up to 80). When you get up to there, it might be worth moving to Aura Statues if you can handle it (81-84).
For Pots, you get Signet Evasion/DEF bonus the whole way. Aura Statues are rougher, but it isn't like they hit quickly. They're certainly nicer than Eo'Aerns. Deco weapons are 80-82, but they don't drop 800k stones or 100k organs.
Ok im goin get started on my CoP mission with my new char and wanted to know is all of CoP uncapped now like the 5-3 snoll fight and the airship battle??
Besieged.
Apocalypse Weapons can cap you at 80 (the ones that are EM at least). Bring signet for that.
Everything EM and higher will cap you at that level. Pretty much any EM mob is easy if you have signet in a signet area.
DC Goobbue still hit pretty damn hard though. =/
MMM Question:
I was reading over the runes on wikipedia, and noticed they're worded as giving the enemy certain boosts.
Do enemies and players both "benefit" from the rune status boosts?
Did two Flan NM runs... one gave MDB - and we killed it with ease. Another gave INT and maybe MAB, and we almost wiped to 1500 -ga IIIs.
Runes behave differently depending on the voucher they are on. When you look at the runes, the description will be different depending on which voucher you are using to view the runes. In voucher 01/02 they buff the enemies, in voucher 05 they buff chappy, in voucher 09 they buff you.
