how do skill ups work with the guild key item Sheeting if im trying to skill up on adaman sheet?

would 1 synth of 6 ingots only give 1 skill up or would it try to give a skill up for every ingot in that 1 synth

It worked that way for the previous trilogy of add-ons: Everyone had them downloaded from the day they went live; The only thing purchasing them did was unlock the first quest. We won't know until Monday but it's a pretty safe bet, I wouldn't worry.

imop, you will charm like a level 67 BST with shitty DRK CHR. I went 67DNC/(61)BST and was charming Raptors and Rabbits and crap in Terrigan with resist rates that were about what I'd expect for a BST my level.

I think the "/BST charm potency is determined by main job level" thing may have been true at one time, but I doubt it's true anymore.

i think /BST Charm potency is based off your BSTs MAIN level, cap at your current level, so if your BST is 50 and you're a level 70/BST you'll only be able to charm at the power of a 50BST.

But if you're 35RDM/BST and your BST is 70, you'll charm as a 35BST (because it caps at your main job.

So in his situation he'd charm like a 66BST, even though he's 67.

This is how i understood it =.=a, which is why BST is useless as a 37 support job.

Interesting... I did some lowbie leveling using /BST ~6-8 months ago and got higher than expected Charm durations. I might look into it later this evening if I get some time.

Asking here because I figure someone who knows for sure is more likely to see it here than in the tech forum.

Basically, I can connect my laptop to my TV with an HDMI cable. In order for the letters to be clear enough to read without hurting my eyes, I set my laptop to 1280x720, as I also do with FFXI.

The game works perfectly fine under these settings.

If I turn my TV off to AFK (don't want to get image burn), or switch off of HDMI2 (PC) - the game continues to run on my laptop without any issues.

However, when I turn the TV back on and/or switch to HDMI2 again, the resolution reverts back to 1440x900 - and causes POL to crash.

Why is my resolution reverting back to 1440x900? Can I prevent this?

1. Anyone have experience with lowmanning the CoP 8-2 Ghrah and the pot fight afterwards? I've seen stuff on the wiki about winning those fights without a full party, but I don't want to waste my friends time if we do the climb for 8-2 and cant kill the damn Ghrah. For reference, I have RDM and BLM, one friend has PLD and WAR, another has BLU DRK DRG and SCH.

2. Anyone know the .dat mod or UI mod that changes the color of the BRD song icons? Levelling BRD now and I think it would be nice to have.
