Then i reread and saw this was Cerberus which confused me even more..

Something to do with someone on Cerberus being ex-Apathy before they moved to Shiva I guess. Also something to do with Apathy using PLD/WAR far after the PLD/NIN craze took over, hence why they had three of the first ten or so Burtgangs (let's face it - the sword would be great if people bloodtanked often). I think they use mostly /NIN and /RDM now, but that's how it used to be.

What, are you being serious? Khim is a fucking joke as long as you have at least one quick WHM. Hell, it can be solo-tanked by a non-Aegis non-Defending Ring PLD and with just RDM and WHM supporting him, and no BRD.

Here is what i got sent when I busted balls on blood tanking, I won't say who it was but you could probably guess..

I assume 'he thinks its good because his ls blood tanks' was to me and about Apathy, well I can tell you that I know and have read all about enmity, and I can tell you that my ls doesn't blood tank anything that enmity would warrant the opposite. That said:

Lets see here, AV, PW, Einherjar, Dynamis, all other things that hit extremely hard and fast and have massive -MDT etc., oh and all things that have multiple targets hitting simultaneously, oh and new Mithra fomor NM.

This reminds me of my LS. Askar SAM saying 1% haste doesn't matter as well as the PLD saying Blitz ring is shit and too expensive. That Askar SAM later swapped to turban anyway but fucked up his moogle helm by augmenting it with STR+4 DEX+4 Crit DMG+2% WS ACC+15.

First off, you have to know some horrible PLDs if they can't reach CE cap on Khimaira.

Secondly, why are your SAMs pulling hate with SA WS? Just have the PLD run behind it right before he preps SATA and the hate from damage is all planted on your tank - then your SAM can stand there and throw 3-4 more WSes at it without risking pulling hate (since his first WS, and the strongest one, he didn't get hate for anyway) before his SATA timer comes back up.

Cerberus and Khimaira don't have very powerful flails anyway and they like to stand in the same place when you're behind them, so why not take advantage of them?

Despite the fact that my LS sometimes dual tanks Khim, solo tanking is very easy on him as well with very good support. Khim is all about breaking wings and BRD being on point with Elegy anyways. Then some good stunning action at the end.

The idiots in the OP's former shell are basically copy/pasted from the idiots in my former shell. "I can do * without all the stuff you're talking about, so clearly it's not needed for you to be good." Also blithely ignoring actual math because they don't even understand basic algebra, so therefore every single bit of math is merely "an assumption" and "not always true" and that the game is about "finding your own way" (a catchphrase that I think they figured out pissed me off especially and thus kept repeating ad nauseam).

I actually beat people over the head worse than the OP did, and for far longer, even to the point of making at least 5 people quit the shell because of me. Solely because I was tired of putting up with them but their rules were heavily abusable (the last Dyna run I did with them I made 200k and got relic for free), and I was one of only two actual DDs in the shell, as opposed to like 10+ mages, so they couldn't afford to kick me. Many of them are in the gimp and/or random fail thread, actually.

tl;dr Idiots in OP aren't far removed from the casual players who simply don't care to look things up. Probably indicative of my standards being worn down that I don't see them as being especially bad.
