So I always say: Daishi A, Dire Wolf .... Puma C, Adder .... etc.

Daishi (Great Death) is a much cooler name then Dire Wolf, I've always called it that.

In the old GEnie Battletech Online game, it was directly ported from MW1.

Including the infamous jump jet glitch. Which was apparently NOT well known, as we of the Capellan Confederation at the time proceeded to kick Davion's playerbase all the way to to the backside of the Kuritan border in a relentless barrage of "destroy base" missions. Realizing they had NO idea of what they'd left in the Activision code ported over, a secret was passed amidst the Liao group, so quietly we'd only talk about it inside a mission instance.

We'd proceed to float our infinite-jet-fuel Jenners clear over the defenders, land it on the base roof and hose it down with a few bursts of medium laser fire, wrecking it's shit in no time. Win. Brofist fellow Liao player we invited to join us to show them how it's done. Who would show it to two more, then four, then eight...

The private BBS for Liao's players was much-rejoicing from the pimp-slapping of the Davion group, who basically spent most of the time the game was online trying to shred the Capellans into mush so they could get rollbacks and do it again and again and again and again...until this happened.

Once the devs had gone "WTF, how are you owning them" for a little bit, we were good and explained the exploit so it'd get patched. But it was glorious seeing the devs rollback the game because Liao, the punching bag had conquered the biggest House in the game. And they never, ever did it again.
