Samsung LCD TV Turning White

Never had this problem before today but for some reason I turned on my TV this morning and the screen had a washed out look... no picture... just black with some grey weird lines all over it... then it gradually turned white and showed a few still shots of my cable box (which also turned negative).

I called my service tech out to have a look since it's under warranty but I can't replicate the problem as the TV is operating normally. Anyone have any ideas?

My samsung is starting to get purple lines across the screen some times when i turn it on. Does it on everything. Really hope its not going out.

That was kind of what happened with mine. I have a service agreement on it and the tech came out to replace the power supply. My girlfriend was watching it tonight and said it happened again so until I see it happen again I have no idea what the problem could be.

Guy should be here for mine in about an hr i'll let you know how it goes. I allmost forgot i had a 4 year warranty on it

Mine needs a new mainboard. Won't be fixed until next Friday. :\
