Is 269 "laughing with me" low or "laughing at me" low?
I couldn't even see the video...
Well, I would expect more out of an 5870 and a 5970 at the same clock speeds because essentially in the FFXIV benchmark the 5970 is a single 5870 underclocked. My benchmarks in other games/benchmark programs generally gets about where it should be for my card and where it is overclocking. I was wondering, for your FFXIV benchmark drivers did you modify the benchmark in any way (for example the Crossfire workaround)? If not, what catalyst drivers are you currently using?
Also, what do you mean do you keep your windows memory crap free? Do you mean do I not have many processes running in the background? If that is what you are asking, when the benchmark was running I only had Synergy, ATI Catalyst, and MSI Afterburner running when I did my tests.
I realize this card is old, but would 2 GeForce GTS 250 1GB cards in SLI be decent at running this game? Can anyone with a similar cards please post what they got after running the altered benchmark which supports SLI.

any guesses how it will do? due to receive on wed so should be able to benchmark then play by maybe saturdays testing. (i do have beta account).
For those that don't know: New 10.7 Catalyst drivers will be released tomorrow. ;o
I did not know that! Thanks for the heads up.
