Do you have some water cooling on your 470? Mine seems to be on the lower end of OC ability, but 100mhz is a far stretch on the stock stuff I think.

On air atm, but I should receive my hydro copper gtx470 by next day or two. With the settings on my Sig..Loaded temps are around 75-80c with 100% FS..
Still can tweak it with Afterburner, but since it's stable I wouldn't mess with it anymore since I'm not a geek at this.

So, with FFXIV still over a month away, it would probalby be smart to wait to see if Nvidia releases a 475 and see how it does? I'm still torn between a ATI 5850 and Nvidia 460 or 470. I'm basically just looking for a card that I could play at 1920x1200 resolution with high settings without issue.

Either card should be capable of doing so. My 5870 played at 2560x1440 without any issues which is 60% more pixels than 1920x1200 and the 5870 is not 60% faster than either of those cards. If you can't wait a month or two to make a purchase, as shaddix mentions, eVGA typically has a 90-day Step-up program for their cards so if you buy a 470 and then, a month or two later eVGA releases a 475, you have some good options available.

Can anybody test on the login screen if SLI is enabled? Or would u need to be in game

edit: nvm, i guess no SLI/CF yet. (CF can be forced through the control panel, though it's not giving the full benefit it should as if it was supported naturally)

I asked around on the beta forums...
ppl who have updated the client show no SLI/CF support at the login screen. Maybe in-game will be diff, but the 2nd card should be showing some use even at the title screen.

And the ppl who have been able to use CF, in full screen mode, has been because they forced it through the control panel or w/e. But that's not natural support

Can't open the config menu while the game is running now.

And yeah I'm liking the 120FPS on title screen... I'm hopeful that gameplay is at least 60 cap. But I get this feeling the mouse feels faster because of the higher FPS.. >.>;

Not seeing 16xQ MSAA setting under Multisampling.

Gotta reconfigure controller, seems they combined the Stack Battle Commands/Emote Menu onto a single button. Added Macros ALT/CRTL

Nvidia quadro FX2800m is not a gaming graphics card other than that its all good.

Yeah, I got that, but my regular benchmark is a teensy bit higher than that (750/1500/1800) anyway, so I didn't really see any change. That and I don't plan on using 100% fan. Eff that shit, Haha. It's really loud past like.. 62. D:

If that's the intel i7-860 that would be my computer exactly, i get a consistent 4500 on low resolution benchmark.

your computer is a PoS. Now, how about you look to the first page and compare it to similar ppl who have alrdy posted on the benchmark since none of us will do the homework for you or magically know how your comp will score.

Er.. sorry. Wrong words. My regular overclock settings are better than the 'boosted' settings, but I still got it for the bios update and what not, lol. I run the OC pretty much non-stop since temps are so nice (sitting at like 36-38C tops when it's idle and I'm web-browsing)
