No screenshot, but I got 2471 with 13725 lat on high with a Intel COore Duo E8400 X3GHz/Ghz processor with an Nvidia GTX 285.
I plan on upgrading to an Intel CoreI7-930 sometime around october and slapping 8 gigs of DDR3 in there. That'll probably top me off around where I want to be. Anything else can be solved by proper cooling and overclocking.
This thing is running smoother today than it was yesterday, so this current rig'll be fine for alpha/beta.
Any ideas if SLI would be supported in the final game version?
wat?
I list systems with comparable GPUs but better CPUs, that I somehow score higher than, and I'm somehow saying GPU is the only reason?
Does this help you? Honestly I am now done as well since I'm tired of accidentally clicking the BG tab. Already knew you didn't know what you was talking about most of the time so didn't expect anything out of this anyway.
Hyperthreading - 8 cores.
This is interesting - it would seem that some people are saying with Catalyst AI disabled, no Anti Aliasing features will be applied with driver sets based on the CCC v10 series. This would explain the performance increase and the jaggies that other people noticed.
Same tests, low grade, with crossfire and AI enabled and some more AA/AF tweaks but no reduction in quality:
Spoiler: show
Three pictures, two tests. First is a standalone result, the following two are separate pictures from a second result, same settings. Reason for middle picture is to demonstrate the drastically improved quality this time around with AI enabled. No slowdowns, stuttering, or lag as before. I would wager that the posts on the ATT forums are correct though, disabling AI either reduces AA or nullifies it completely, hence the performance increase.
Its bed time though.
Well, from the table, it's easy to see at 1080p+ resolution, you're going to need a monster of a GPU to get the most out of your CPU. Especially high clocked quads. Which is much nicer then how XI allocates resources.
Basically the case yeah, CPU plays a larger-than-average effect on high resolutions and completely dominates low resolutions. Speaking of which:

Not gonna bother adding to the low leaderboard as its done by a professional bencher on another site. 980X and GTX480, he got as high as 9400 but thats the only screenshot. Updated to this point~
For those wanting more rigs to compare against or those looking to see what parts perform well check out http://ffxiv-fan.rulez.jp/benchmarkrank.php it's FF14FAN a Japanese site, but they have a little leader board going as well, and all the specs OS/GPU/CPU are in English.

Idk if this has come up, as I haven't read the whole thread, but is there a way to run the benchmark on a ps3? Curious as to where it would rate on the top 50 table.
Helllllllllp, I am lost here.
I have Sony Vaio All-in-One with Pentium Dual Core ES200 @ 2.5GHz x 2, 4 GB RAM, Vista 64-bit.
My video card appears to be an Intel G 45/ G43 Express chipset.
Runs FFXI and otehr games beautifully.
Is there anyway to get the benchmark to run that I can try?
Thanks in advance.
You are not going to be able to run XIV with an integrated chip (if you can at all). If the benchmark doesn't work, its either 1 of 2 things that could be wrong:
1: Missing some drivers: Update video drivers to fix this
Or
2: Your rig is outfitted with parts that are good enough to run 8 year old games like XI but not modern games like XIV that require more than an integrated chip.
Thank you, that's what I thought. I am currently looking into purchasing an external USB graphic card to run the game since I cannot install one. Any suggestions?
