Ran test again with "Twin Turbo" switched On

Score had 190 point increase
I can expand up to 8GB DDR3 Ram, currently at 6... Would maxing it out improve score?

I doubt it; I ran my test with 6gb.. and 3 of them were being used by other programs at the time and I still managed a really high score.I can expand up to 8GB DDR3 Ram, currently at 6... Would maxing it out improve score?
These are using the 10.5 drivers, I'm going to try going back to 10.4 soon, people seem to be getting better performance overall with those. I used 10.2, then 10.5, switched to 10.6 and it was HORRID lol.
Single 5870, i7 930 @ 4.2. Dual Monitor. Vid card is non-reference so I can't pump voltages, oh well.

Thanks for the G73 scores Kajii, I appreciate it. It gives me a better a idea of what to expect for my scores.
I would, but it's a laptop and I didn't buy warranty. So the "Turbo" button will have to suffice.
Overclocked the GPU to its peak before it started showing artifacts. Disabled multi-monitor mode and enbaled SLI on my 9800GX2, not sure if it helped that much. Increase is most likely due to the overclock.

What resolution is high in? 1920x1200?
High resolution score=3336
Low resolution score= 5023

Hey guys, I am taking part in the alpha, and It ran good on my computer. However, when I get to this benchmark, my computer is considered "low end". I get a score of 1800 on low resolution (which is fine with me, my resolution on monitor is 1440x900, I don't need 1900+). I even recently updated my graphics card because the previous graphics card wasn't compatible with the alpha. But I'm still getting lower scores. Is there anything anyone can suggest? I probably need to upgrade my memory.
Windows 7 Professional x64 (with windows 7 basic theme)
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core 2.2GHz
3GB DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon 5670 HD 1GB GDDR5
I had originally had my processor and memory overclocked, but it did not make one difference. I even reinstalled my OS and the software and still had the exact same framerate. Is there anything else I can do to increase my framerate and improve my score? Its not noticeable to the eye that it is running slowly, but the score I got was pretty low compared to what I see around here.
The only thing that I could think of that MIGHT help it is upgrade my RAM. If I buy a 4GB kit I can have a maximum 6GB RAM. Will that help?
Looking forward to a reply.
4GB is sort of the general standard these days and looking at the system you listed, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that Windows 7 is using virtual memory when you're running the benchmark and that would most certainly slow things down. When I was looking at building my most recent PC I was told that under Windows7 you want a minimum of 4GB, preferably 6, ideally 8. If you're in a position to nab a 4GB kit, it might be worth a shot.
It's been noted here a few times that the low test is more related to cpu performance.
edit: beat ;;
@ Fade. Once I get home, Ill post the base scores from my ASUS G Series G51JX-X1 I got from last night. I can say I'm not too happy with them.
Yeah, I dont think a quad should be having problems with running, its an overal fast computer with everything else but this benchmark (maybe I shouldn't worry about it that much, the actual game probably will play just fine) But I dont know anything about optimizing a processor other than overclocking using AMD CCC control panel thing.
In my opinion a lower end GPU will be reflected on the results of the low resolution benchmark. That's why the score didn't get better when you overclocked the CPU.
