I run my gtx 470 at 100% fan speed when i do benchmarks etc shit sound like a jet i even have the highflow air plate also to cut down on the high pitch noise it helped alot

i run 813/1626/1800 on my 470's depending on what i'm doing but if i oc it at all i run fans wide open kinda gets annoying but yea price i have to pay lol

on another hand in the winter wont need to worry with turning on the heater to heat the place up lol

ill just wait to see if the game supports SLI, and if so get another 480 lol

I run higher than that on my 470 on stock cooling, which has a 100core less at stock. 480s can hit 900 easy on air, pushing 1000 under water. Don't be scared, just watch them temps during testing and keep pushin If you artifact pump more volts, stock bios has overvolt protection so you don't even have to worry about going too high unless you flash custom bios.

By air are you saying just the stock cooling from your case + the fan on teh GPU card? if so i am pretty excited for this freaking gtx480, and after hearing this stuff i gather its worth it for me to get the version with the highflow back plate. its about 539.99 right now from what i can see and if i wanna SLI later i will get one when they drop in value a bit.

Your hardware is great but I'm not sure why are the scores low, my CPU isn't overclocked as much and I'm on a 470 and I'm getting 5200+ on low and 3200+ on high.

Yeah stock fan on the card, evga. That model you're talking about is on sale for the 4th weekend for $499 btw.

@Arma, something very wrong there. EIST/C1E disabled? Only thing that comes to mind.. your scores are like half what they should be.

Eh, I score 5k/2.5k with i5 750/GTX260, your hardware is fine, most likely a bios option or a reinstallation required.

how much voltage we talking about running i'm maxed out at 1.087v and cant make it much over 816 ive seen people with higher core but i cant hit it btw Celeras whats your temps if your higher than 816core and your voltage? thanks

So I am aiming to try and get my GF to buy herself a new PC for when this game comes out. She seems to think her old ass PC will run it if its all on low.

So I went to run the benchmark to try and show her just how bad it will be. Anyways I cant see to get it to work(one would think this is proof alone) but she wants to see a score.

Its a old ass Emachine specs are as follows

windows 7 Ultimate
Processor: AMD Athlon dual core processor 4050 @ 2.1 GHz
Ram: DDR2 3 GB(to lazy to look up the speed >.>)
with a ATI Radeon HD 4600

Updated the drivers >.>

it's cause this benchmark doesn't give a accurate depiction of what you need to run the game on high. This benchmark score doesn't mean dick at the moment.

I have a Sapphire Radeon 4860. Should I look into Xfire or perhaps upgrading to a 5x card for when the game comes out?

Pretty sure it's the vidya card if you can't even get the benchmark to run. Tell her she's definitely going to need a new rig ;o

might be drivers, a friend who ran the beta couldnt get it to run till he updated the drivers
