I'm asking because I think it would help a lot of people who may have to buy something now, but don't have enough information to make a clear-cut decision. The only benchmark available (that was posted earlier, and I referred to before because I did find it easily) shows an HD5770 matching it, and some more information would be helpful. Nobody has the obligation to do it, but I would think people would be at least interested what kind of scores they can get and just take a handful of minutes to post some information that really isn't anywhere else right now.
I realize the new drivers are giving people with 465s/470s/480s performance increases. I only asked that they make sure they have the newest drivers because some people still install from the installation disc, and Nvidia will fairly often print a first batch that have intermediate drivers that never make it to the download site. People often sneer at Nvidia's forum reps when they're asked what drivers they're using on a just-released card with only one apparent driver available, and that's why.
I'm sorry if I came off as rude to someone who's been a longstanding member here, but a handful of posts means nothing more than the fact that I've made a handful of posts on this specific site, and using lmgtfy generally isn't considered 'answering a question', but instead being needlessly condescending. I know what information is out there, and whatever doesn't exist, I'm hoping that someone here will be able to clear up. At any rate, I'm interested in seeing how an OC'ed 460 does against your 470, what with price drops and all.
EDIT: Thanks for the link including 460 benchmarks, which are in line with basically every major review out there. I didn't check it at first because I figured the tests would be DX10/11 heavy (which they are), and though there are some more relevant DX9 benches out there, there are always per-game surprises (eg Metro 2033). The fact that the only actualy benchmark score out there shows it matching a 5770 when it by all rights should be doing significantly better is what's odd and will hopefully get clarification.
