they did prioritize ffxi players IN THE FIRST TESTS but now it seems more random. makes sense to get data from different types of people.

Ya that's definitely a good move. XI players are like "the controls are fine!" and the random peeps "OMFG FPS CAP CONTROLS MOUSE I WON'T BUY THIS GAME FUCK".

And it's clear which comment is better for the game and which isn't

You cant access the site till the 13th, SE flags your account for access on the date specified on your email I do believe but the sad thing is, thousands of people will be downloading for tomorrows test, goodluck

Sadly the latter wouldn't buy this game anyways and the base of they have is bigger than the former. Also please don't tell me capped FPS isn't a big deal.
(Not something to ragequit over but still pretty lame if it's capped)

All right thats pretty awesome, I can already see servers crashing and long queue times and omg, semi-glad I didnt get invited (or trying to make myself feel better O.~)

The point is to make the game better. Accepting the flaws because you're used to them won't accomplish that.

Not a hardware enthusiast so the fps cap doesn't bother me (not enough to make a fuss out of it) but that kind of thinking won't make them change it, so I'm glad it bothers someone.

Saturday's test must have gone very well because I thought they weren't opening the servers 24/7 until phase 2 of the beta in early August? Plus the new invites they've sent are surprising. Sure it's not 24/7 yet but it's a good transition set up.

That was only for the first wave, all that went out the window with the second lot of invites.
