Hopefully my roommate got in since he had that FF13 code and won't be too much of a dick to not let me try it.

They added exactly 6,000 accounts today for NA alone, seems like the biggest invite wave yet.

Edit: Also, if you weren't able to log in before but got an invite today, try now, seems they've finished adding most of the accounts

Figures I didn't get one. Always have shit luck with the Betas I want to get into and Betas I'm more "meh" about I get...

Anyone have an idea if they've tested server loads yet? Might be why they sent out more invites, but hopefully that's not the case so they'll send out more.

Man..... the way you need to manufacture stuff, reminds me of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

Can;t imagine what you really need to do in order to manufacture, a full plate armor.

The thing that saddens me is that the types aren't fully interchangeable. Like, for example, you can't use an elm shaft and bronze head, you have to use either an elm shaft and iron head, or walnut shaft and bronze head. Still, it's a step in the right direction rather than stuff like 3 bronze ingots and beeswax = sword.

Normally you can't open the same ports twice even on different protocols

So do this

UDP 55296 – 55551
TCP 54992 – 55551
UDP 80, 443

54992-55551 on Both protocol on the first line
2nd line do 80 on UDP and 3rd line do 443 on UDP

Thought it was TCP for 80/443... But then again that doesn't make sense (and I wouldn't want to open those low ports to the outside world anyway...)

Opening those first 2 ranges seems enough to get those "remote connections". Any one with more network knowledge knows something more?

i think the crafting is just tiered
tier 1 ores require tier 1 wood and tier 1 cloth etc.

Congrats to all who got in today, Me and my gf applied when the app site went live and still no email, even used the ffxii code.. oh well hopefully we will get an invite on the next wave.
Keep sending updates about the game its nice to see how it is progressing.

80 is for http traffic and 443 is for secure http traffic. I really don't think it matters much if you have those open, I doubt there would be large http traffic. I can't open those anyway, I have those ports forwarded to a server in my apartment. Wouldn't worry about it.

443 should be TCP though.

Grrr <_< Is there some way to check if you've applied to Beta. I applied for PC beta waaaaay way back but I swear with my luck chances are it never went through and I'm just waiting for an invite that will never happen.
