Connected to a whole 3 people earlier to download the tiny patch they gave us earlier in the day:

It's not the downloaders fault.

Before copying over the downloaded patch file, I closed the SE updater and then proceeded to copy of the completely downloaded patch file to its proper location overwriting the old one. Upon opening the SE launcher, it then recognized the patch file and installed the patch. Note: the install of the patch may take a bit and seemed to eat quite a bit of my resources.
Well I sold my alpha account a few hours before the beta started on the weekend, I figure, meh, probably the same as alpha and since I capped a character in alpha I won;t be missing much.
Man this morning the players site was released/opened and what was I thinking! Probably a bad idea now since I want to play really bad, but I bought the account, so I still have my personal SQEX acc, and bottom line, now I can buy the CE and get the cool helmet, and security token for my account when the game launches, still would be nice to see some pictures at least of the beta.
Man wtf is up with the settings, in any window size other than 1920x1080 I cant see health bar or enemy health or even the difficulty, blue yellow red. Its just me isnt...
soooo, MOVE the health bar if you can't see it![]()
How am i suppose to move something that isnt on screen.
A troll is born? (to satyr)
Is there only windowed mode still? Seems odd that 1920x1200 would have issues, as that's the default resolution of most high res widescreens nowadays.
JPs have figured out a bunch of recipes already it looks like. Not like there's anything else to do but farm moles.
So, does anyone know If I can use a EU account??? I have the client installed. Is there a difference between clients for NA and EU...
i dont see the fullscreen option in the config
NVM when you make your config res the same as your screen, you can get fullscreen option to come up
So, is everything in the beta already there? Like all content se wants us to explore is already in it, or are they adding stuff as they go along?
This seems more like a server stress test, cause of all the people on the server, lag is hard to work with, especially if you dont have good system ready for ffxiv. Ive been enjoying Pug only got to lv8/8 cause of getting the boot alot.
Same, except I only got Gladiator to level 5. The mouse bothers me more than the lag tbh.
Under ./My Documents/My Games/ on your computer, delete the "Final Fantasy XIV Beta" directory. This will reset all settings for the game, including gamepad controls, graphics settings and UI component placement.
There may be a specific file in there you can delete just for UI components, but I haven't tested to see what it is.
