When you've completed a leve or three, you can exchange them when you pick up a new one to increase the reward on it. You can exchange up to four completed ones when you do this for the same leve. I'm not sure about failed ones though.

In alpha, sometimes the leves I had completed would list 1 star next to them. If I selected those to exchange then the leve I was getting would have orange text for the rewards with more gil I think.

i've a problem logging with my friend's acc.

once i press start and the "now loading" it crashes. any idea why?

When you complete a combat leve, it just stays in your list of quests but has a check mark or something next to it. I think the max number of leves you can have for a region is 3? If you try to accept a a new one and you're already full, it will ask you to exchange one. The more stars you trade in, the greater the rewards for the quest you exchanged them for.

That's the gist of it I think, at least.

I'm not liking such insanely hard enemies if you venture out too far. Or even near the camps too, the dodos and sheep are hard to solo right now.

Also, is anyone else gladiator? I'm lvl 8 and we STILL have no provoke ability? I was partying with a few random people, and it would have been smoother if I can control the aggro.


oh yeah, also, bringing levequest monsters back to camp and regaining your hp/mp whenever you want is a huge glitch and should be fixed, i posted it on the beta forums.

Even worse is that the indicator for the enemies seems broken. Usually you can see if there is a red, orange or green dot beside the enemies name. But I see a lot of beta footage where this dot is not present at all. So most people have no idea when they are marching to their death... Tho it is very amusing to watch them do so

How far did everyone get? First time playing today and I'm physical level 11 and polearm rank 8.

Surprised it played on this pos computer. I was getting like 5-10 fps the whole time. Looked super choppy, but it was still playable. I'm hoping they have settings where you can lower more stuff to make it run better.

33 minutes till servers go live then more grindage. I need to find some armor to buy, my Gladiator is a little gimp with Lv1 gear/weapon and a Lv5 shield.

There isn't any.

No armour on any vendors in Limsa Lominsa. There ARE some higher level shields at Thundersticks, however.

I assume we're supposed to craft stuff.

But since there are no crafting leves... and trial and error for recipes is getting most people nowhere.... no loots are being made!

Damn that sucks. I remember in Alpha getting some nice looking threads on my Archer and being able to to solo goats easy... Right now I just get destroyed. Defense really does work in this game.

Anyone know if maybe its been made into crafts so that people can sell it through retainers?

My groups seems to be hitting a wall sorta with the lack of gear options.

You can craft armour it's just like people said, it's a lot of trial and error. And for weaving, at least, it requires a lot of materials.

I've made an "hempen inner dalmatica" and "hempen sleeves" hoping to combine them at some point for a "hempen shirt" or something. It literally took me ~2 hours of work to gather/figure out how to synth those :\

And not having a plentiful supply of lightning shards really hurts my thread-making because I haven't a mob that drops them, just getting them through botanist

Don't worry though, I can make hempen half-gloves NP
