I found the normal version on amazon.jp, so I might settle for that. Their amazon is so bizarre.

I believe that question has already been asked, and the answer was NO... not unless you had the Japanese copy of the game.

Well, re-registered on the official site in attempt to hijack a beta invite from the pool that will be sent out within the next 3 hours I hope. I can't wait to see footage of the Beta that everyone is so lucky to get their hands on. This will probably be pretty close to the retail release. /jealous

I have no idea how courier services work, so off the 15 minutes of browsing around, I found these:


There was Yodobashi here, but they stopped taking orders earlier today. I'm also 95% sure they don't ship out of Japan. Word is this place will accept pre-orders again soon.

There was also the SE e-store, but they stopped taking orders also. Again, they are unlikely to ship out of Japan.

There was also Rakuten, but of course, sold out, Japan only.

Still available here, but again, they don't ship out of Japan.

7-11 also carries games, but they don't have either version of FFXIV up on their site.

Amazon.co.jp, from what I read certainly ships overseas, so if all else fails, keep checking there. Good luck.

Amazon.co.jp, typically does NOT send software of any type: console or PC out of the country.

PlayAsia DOES have the American version of the FFXIV collector's edition listed, but it is not allowing preorders at this time. There is no JP version of the collector's edition that I see (on PlayAsia's site).
