I have 2 more since my monitor is 16:10 and not 16:9
1680x1050
1440x900
I hope I can run it in 1680x1050 if my spec can't handle 1920x1200 because there seems to be no 1440x900 for some reason...
1920x1080 or imma gonna rage.
From what I am gathering from alpha posters is it seems this game will be like how XI was released.
Xi on release date compared to now is such a complete different game. Its hard to even still call it XI these days. I hope you guys get what im saying.....
In terms of XIV (my own assumptions) after 6 months / 1 year of this game being released it should really start to shine and be pretty awesome game. Of course we dont know if lots of this stuff will be fixed or not in time for launch, but I think PS3 users should actually be happy for the delay in release. You will be able to launch into a much more polished game. I guess I should stop worrying. Its Alpha...
Amirite?
I think what most PS3 users aren't happy about is the fact that they won't be able to start day 1 like everyone else. There's something to be said about the lost and overwhelmed what the hell do I do feelings one gets when they first begin an MMO, particularly when it's brand new. Will the game available one year from now be much better than the one coming out in 2 months? Almost certainly, but you can't miss polish and spit shine when you don't have it yet.
^ the main reason for this is that the players transformed the game using all the various options available.. I'm sure in way's the dev's never thought possible. XIV will be the same in how you can min/max abilities amongst the diff jobs, it will be up to the players to explore. But i highly doubt XIV is gonna have an unstable launch like XI did. That isn't allowed anymore and players aren't nearly as forgiving as they used to. and sorry.. but that line of "Look at WoW's launch, server's crashing every few minutes" doesn't cut it either. This isn't "X" years ago.
From looking around various places, I'm starting to feel as if Lancer is going to become the huntard/galditard of XIV :/
There is also a 1776x1000, which is pretty lulzy since 16:9 should be 1777 or 1778.
I believe he means that it will be the class that every retard plays and eventually they will give the class a bad name.
Archer would be more popular if it built more like a class that could move around quickly while dealing damage and able to solo more difficult mobs, and less like XI's ranger.
Its a Dragoon without jumps and a Wyvern. I couldn't be happier, even though I hope they'll get a long ranged jumping attack at some point. They even have survivalibility, and can use heavy armor! Its like SE actually took a look back at traditional Drgs and opted to make a change.
Be glad it's not like Aion, nothing was more fun then trekking all the way to do a quest inside a rift, dying at the very end of the quest and not getting credit...while the rest of the group did. And then they couldnt come back and do it again since they were locked out from it forever after beating it once. :D
