There's a slight yet noticeable difference between discussing things on a forum and stating your dislikes with something once in a while and me going to the WoW forums to say "Yah well it seems Blizzard scrapped the Path of the titans from Cataclysm, one of it's refining features.. well, that's normal Blizzard for ya lol" with the simple intention of bashing the game. The random complaint thread is mostly made up of "this player sucks" "we can't clear this encounter" and "my shit didn't drop". That topic is hardly relevant against how good the game is.

Also: I could say I alt tabbed and went on follow while doing Molten Core and compare that to how awesome and fun and fast paced Salvage is, and that'd be a retarded comparison. That's exactly the comparisons a few of you have been making though, only with the games switched. Note: I'm not saying anything from the current XI-game beats anything from the current WoW-game in terms of fun or epicness, or the other way around (as I think ultimately this will depend on the individual that's doing the events), but for the love of god, think of some better examples.

To clarify my position: I think FFXI is a horrible game except for a couple things, but most of you aren't doing a good job at sounding differently than the SE-fanboys you complain about.

The only active threads are the "random questions", "accomplishment" and "random complaints" (people wanting to get better at the game, people doing thing in the game, and people complaining about its flaw). The closest thing you could find to wow versus ffxi is this one

I'm not exactly sure why you believe that I'm coming from the WoW's section to bully the poor soul of FFXIV forum, but whatever makes you happy...I don't really hold any attachment to either game, the only thing I know is that in WoW, my fingers and brain aren't fast enough to use my class at its full potential, while in FFXI, I could browse forum while doing everything I could.

What's funny is that the thread only degraded into "WoW vs FFXI" and nothing else because of people talking about people talking about WoW vs FFXI and BRP being BRP. The discussion would've continued without interference from those thoughts.
