Things don't add up here. I used to be able to sneeze and my controllers would come unplugged. I find it hard to believe that a falling 11-year old child wouldn't immediately break the cord, not to mention the XBox attached to it.

That is, unless he slowly climbed off the bed, carefully twisted the cord around his own neck, and then kind of lowered himself and hung himself for not getting an achievement.

This just screams foul play.

so um, two things:
I thought xbox controllers were wireless (other than for charging)
How can the weight of the kid being hung by it not wind up dragging the system around?

Could be xbrick, the original, which didn't have wireless iirc, but the point still stands that the kid would definitely weigh more than the console, so even if the controller itself didn't separate the console should come with him to the floor rather than him hanging himself.

I don't understand how you can hang yourself using a corded controller on either xbox? Both have saftey detaches.
