Ethics (or whatever your conception of justice is) aside, our society's social structure is founded on application of force. Most people can go through life and only notice it every now and then, or like these youtube clips, but the fact remains, there is always a gun in the room.

Are you mentally handicapped? Or trolling? That would have been a HUGE media blitz on a cop pulling out a sidearm on an unarmed black woman for a jaywalking offense. This isn't the movies, you can't just take out your sidearm for something like that unless the woman was to brandish her own weapon first.

Officers can take you down if they feel you are being unruly. They don't have to just ask you politely to cut the shit out. No they can't crack you in the head if they ask you for I.D and you say "Fuck off", but they can drop your ass to the ground if you follow up that "Fuck off" by pushing the cop away and getting ready to throw a punch.
