You should get a tribal armband. I hear chicks really dig it
Find a tattoo artist that has some sort of unique style instead of the typical carbon copy of every other dude where all they do is prefabricated tribal shit, flaming 8-balls, naked devil girls, flaming eyeballs/skulls, etc.
My old roommate (photography college) wanted a tattoo of a Hasselblad and asked me to draw it up for him. So, I did, and I must say I did a damn good job. It was kinda' sketchy, pretty basic but very detailed, like someone drew and shaded it with pen, which I did. He was pretty psyched on it and handed it over to the tattoo artist who decided HE would redraw it (I'm assuming so he could put it into a form he could reliably replicate). My roommate settled for it and came back with this black blob on his wrist of an almost all-black Hasselblad, that had that shitty tattoo-style art, the warped edges, weird fish-eye distortion on everything, looking all stupid cartoony and way too dark and over-shaded. It looked like poop. Plus he had some Mark Gonzoles birds flying out of the viewfinder, which is another thing I think is dumb with tattoos.
I love art in general and I could really be obsessed with a specific artist's work, but I hate the idea of someone else's work on someone's skin permanently, especially if the artist in question isn't the one who designed the tattoo. Just a copy of their work slapped on you like advertising. I feel like everyone who gets a tattoo needs to either design it entirely themselves or work closely along with someone they know who can create exactly what's in their mind. 90% of tattoo artists seem to be pretty damn amateur.
Spoiler: show
I say fuck it, and go with a Derek Hess design:

Use that for your Eagle needs.
