    New DVD Drive - Help

    I recently bought and installed a new DVD drive:

    After installing it I went to listen to a CD and it will only play the first ~15 seconds of a track before it skips to the next track. It does the same with different software (iTunes and windows media player) and if I try to rip tracks from the CD it only rips the first 15-ish seconds.

    Does anyone know what's causing this?

    Have you tried watching a movie or reading a data disc to see if any other errors occur?
