Well, if you want to be pedantic about it, Atheism is as much a belief as Theism.

Belief - 1. Mental acceptance of a claim as truth regardless of the lack of supporting empirical evidence.

Neither Theists or Atheists can PROVE their claims, so both are technically "beliefs".
