I would have argued, fuck that noise. The whole point of price matching is the honor the price the customer brings in and is comparing to the competitor's, I guess I got extremely lucky, the lady didn't even give a shit. I am glad to hear that they will pull the price up themselves, if this applies to amazon and others, I found my new 3DS deal sanctuary.
its in their price match policy at most places that the item has to be in stock, that's not really that wierd. awesome how target doesn't though![]()
Well shit apparently I missed out on the deals. Oh well I have enough backlog to deal with anyway.
Target isn't checking quantities at competitors, since they price check online. Target is pretty much the goto for new games now, since you're guaranteed the lowest price, sans BG deals we see once and a while.
What games are must have for this? I got animal crossing and am returning it, just not for me. I also got Mario 3ds land and I'm not enjoying it, might return it too. So far I have
Fire emblem
Zelda albw
Phoenix wright
And plan in picking up the sequel to 999. Other then that...wtf do i get? I feel like I had this big list in my head of games to get but I can't remember it at all lol.
In no partictular order:
Tales of the Abyss- if you like tales games or rpgs and don't already have this on the ps2.
Pokemon X/Y - if you like pokemon
New Super Mario Bros. 2 - people seem to like this game better than 3D land, I personally liked them both.
Starfox 64 3D/ Zelda OoT 3D - if you liked them on the 64 or never played them before.
Monster Hunter Tri- I don't have this game but I've heard good things about it.
Less need to have games are:
Theatrythm - It's fun and there's a large nostalgia factor for fans of FF games, but it's a rhythm game which aren't for everyone, and it doesn't have a lot of replay unless you feel like blowing 100 bucks on DLC
Sonic Generations - It's fun but the PC/360 etc versions are better. I'd only recommend to die hard Sonic fans.
I'm sure there's other games people will suggest too. I just haven't played them/ know much about them.
SRPG:
SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked
First person dungeon crawlers:
SMT: Soul Hackers
EOIV
EOU
Platformer:
Super Mario Land 3D
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
RPG's:
SMTIV
Kingdom Hearts 3D
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
So far I have: Zelda ALBW, mario 3d land, and fire emblem.
I wanna get the phoenix wright game but its really odd asking my family for a 3ds gift card for xmas. It just feels creepy saying "Hey, I want a gift card." What other stuff on the 3ds shop is worth looking at? Can I browse it online without having my 3ds yet so I can window shop?
Zelda is awesome. Fire emblem is a nice update to the series. There's not much replay value to the Zelda game. But there hardly is for any of them other than nostalgia. Fire emblem has a ton of DLC maps but the game is decently big enough already. I'm definitely like a lot of you where I don't know what games to get because I never thought I'd ever own a DS. Loving it so far though. Definitely asking for Pokemon and Mario Kart for chrimbus.
Yeah you can. http://www.nintendo.com/games/gameGuide?system=3ds go here and check the "digital download" box. I think that has the whole list. A lot of the cartridge games are also available as downloads and there there's a ton of games on virtual console which is basically old handheld games and NES games.

3DS update, connects your Nintendo Network ID to you 3DS. Not sure if that means you have to make one if you don't have one, but if you have a Wii U, everything is connected now~
Initial D: Perfect Shift Online (F2P)http://gematsu.com/2013/12/free-to-p...-coming-to-3dsSega is developing a free-to-play Initial D game for 3DS called Initial D: Perfect Shift Online, this week’s Famitsu reveals.
It appears players won’t actually drive vehicles in the game. Cars move on their own, and players will have to up- and down-shift gears at the right moments in racing to victory—kind of like a rhythm game.
Characters and vehicles from Initial D will appear in the game.
A closed beta is planned for January, with the full release due spring 2014 in Japan.

GF is currently playing my 3ds and telling me she wants one.
Best bundle to pick up? I think she's more of a Mario than Zelda person, she's not a game person at all, could always spend a few $ more and get a Wii U instead.
Anyone have any find Mii II tips?
Like the best coin management. Hiring ppl and then buying the potions that bring them back to get them back for cheaper than buying all 3 again? (I usually sit on 300 coins, spend some and don't play again until I have 300 coins again); just looking for the best way to manage my coins efficiently to get the most progress/coin
http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-3DS-X...3ds+xl+bundles
Probably this one. It's a good price, and the Mario and Luigi games are fun little lighthearted RPG's.
Does anyone know of anywhere that still has the zelda XL bundles in stock? I didn't get one for christmas so I was hoping to pick it up for myself.
These days I just go visit Nintendo zones and get lots of tags. Doing this I tend to tag some of the same people so they level up. Save the coins when I needed certain colors. I have 3 Starbucks and a Mortons in walking distance, though. Not really what you asked but it works
Ok I need advice on how to spend these last $15 on my Amazon gift card. I'm thinking Zelda:OOT or Mario Kart 7.
I have: Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Fire Emblem Awakening, Pokemon Y. I've spent maybe an hour total on each game due to getting them all so recently and close together.
I was going to download OOT but then I saw it was $40. Since I have $15 left on Amazon I was going to just buy it there, but $25 for OOT seems a bit much, do these things ever go on sale? I don't know anyone else with a 3DS and have yet to play with anyone on BG, so most of the games I play are by myself which makes me think OOT is the better purchase - But the 3DS gets most of its use at work during downtime so time-consuming/addicting games are a huge plus.
I would second the recommendation for Devil Survivor Overclocked, but it can get pretty difficult in certain sections, especially if you've min-maxed your character. Definitely check out the Before I Play page for it first. Has a fair bit of replayability and lots of alternate endings, too.
Not sure what the exact price for it is, but Atlus has been having a lot of sales recently, so maybe you'll luck out. Come to think of it, SMT4 might also still be on sale, but I'm not sure.
Out of curiosity, any good word on SMT4? The only atlus rpgs i played were the persona series. But i saw the collector's at best buy. Almost picked it up, but quite pricey.
