They let me do it in store. Took me about an hour. Ran a wifi hotspot from my phone and did it that way.

Well sorry for the bump but just kinda redid the transfer process and still no sign of my dark notes and Ambassador saved games

Did the transfer then removed the 2gig SD card of the old 3ds put it in my PC, copied the folders then pasted it in my 4gig SD card from the XL

Got my lolpics and videos but still no dark notes Theatrythmn says i had 50 but when i go inside only got the first lv 5 one

Ah well at least still got my party lved up

thinking of picking up NSMB2. but I'm also wary since the reviews are pretty mediocre. anyone here pick it up? what did you think of it?

I picked it up with a 3DS XL on Sunday. Most of the reviews I've seen are pretty accurate. It's short, and quite easy if you're just looking at blazing through to the credits. I've only really put enough time into it to do that though, so I can't comment much on the time/effort for actual completion. It's fun, but definitely an example of Nintendo just kinda phoning it in. Personally, I never played the DS one, and only played the Wii version of New Super Mario for a short time, so the yet-more-NSMB angle wasn't as big a deal to me.

Its a Mario game. Its what you expected, Its like Mario 3 and Mario world combined. I don't know why people really have a problem with it.

Gonna go out on a limb and say Jan-March. Don't think I've ever seen a PR statement, much less one aimed at consumers, talk about a release date in terms of fiscal year. I wish they'd give us a more concrete date for Animal Crossing though. Or at least try and keep it to first quarter, instead of first half.

Outside of being a Nintendo fanboy, I don't think there's a mass audience system seller. Theathrhythm, Kid Icarus, and Super Mario Land 3D did me in, but it's hardly worth shelling out $200 for a 3DS XL if you aren't in love with those games/franchises.
