When Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity releases for Nintendo 3DS on March 24, it will include a bevy of exciting features. Starting on launch day, downloadable content will be available for purchase on a regular basis in the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. The downloadable content includes new Mystery Dungeons to explore, new items to collect and new Pokémon to interact with. As a special treat for fans, the first piece of downloadable content, the Poké Forest Mystery Dungeon, will be free to download from launch day until April 30. Three additional downloadable Mystery Dungeons will be available to purchase when the game launches, and additional content will launch regularly throughout April.

In addition to the single-player dungeon exploration of Hero Mode, the game includes local multiplayer for up to four players in Companion Mode. By connecting wirelessly, players can work together to explore new Mystery Dungeons and collect experience and items that carry over to Hero Mode. Players can also help out other players by tagging them using the StreetPass feature and reviving their fallen Pokémon using Reviver Seeds.

According to Nintendo that unit has been back ordered for a while. I admit it's poor wording on their part, but I think what they're getting at is that it'll be available again at large this week, not that it's being "released".

pretty much has been widely available around here since last fall, still see it on shelves. so thought it was kinda odd. the white on the hinge looks awful with the pink top, but whatever some people like I guess.

What's wrong with them is their complete lack of a neutral colored 3DSXL in North America (or decent special edition for that matter). There should always be a neutral option like black/white/grey/silver like both other regions have had since launch. They somehow think pink is a better idea instead. Considering how insignificant costs would be to release existing colors in other regions and the fact that these things are region-locked, they are just being teases at this point.

It doesnt even matter when you are playing cause its all black on the inside. I guess it matters what everyone else sees I guess.

A neutral option is a standard when designing any sort of electronics/appliance with color options. It's more principal than anything at this point because the colors already exist and they are simply plastic shells they can stick on any region's hardware, but they specifically are choosing not to so they can squeeze as many sales out of this region as possible by most likely releasing it later after things slow down enough.

The game lineup hasn't impressed me too much, but I honestly would have a 3DSXL by now if it was available in black/grey/white. It's going to take an amazing game for me to buy a hideous red/blue/pink handheld device.

You'd be surprised how in the minority you are with this one. I actually work for a marketing/market research firm that works with Sony and Nintendo, and I can straight up tell you that (at least for Nintendo) they do what they do because it works.

You'd think there'd be money in the supposed neutral colors, but every consumer survey, every round of product testing, every focus group, has proven that the market in the US on special editions of their handhelds is pretty slim, unless it's branded with one of their big IPs, or carries some sort of bundle deal. It's a combination of consumer apathy and people just not buying multiple copies of the same handheld hardware.

no idea what waxf stands for but the fact that fftwotl isnt in its spot makes your opinion on srpgs irrelevant
