Check your local Sears, they marked down the original 3DS red and cosmo black down to $99, comes out to $104 with tax. It seems to be wherever because I seen people posting at CAG and other places with their results, I would say it's worth a look if you have a Sears around.

Is the graphical difference between the regular 3DS and XL that much?

Graphical is the same in the sense that XL doesnt have a stronger GPU

It seems prettier cuz the screen is bigger and imo the holding feel is much better with XL then normal

Having both the normal and xl I can agree that the XL is is much more comfortable to play, plus the battery life is much much better.

Meh. Same blue 3DS XL they have been peddling with an emblem (see what I did there) stamped on it. I'm not buying it. I also am not too thrilled about the game being pre-installed on a small amount of system memory or however it works. Does Nintendo allow you to save game software on a SD card installed to the system?

3ds supports up to 32gb SDHC cards iirc

My one real gripe about the 3DS was the comfort in holding it/playing it was horrid. After lookin around I found this comfort grip:

Can leave the top cover off, the bottom made a major difference for me. Its made of like a soft meshy.. Stuff. Only ten bucks ordered offline, really made a difference for me.

If I was gunna get a 3DS XL would have to be like a Monster Hunter addition or something. Not giving up my Zelda edition normal size for a lame regular color.

I actually have that model, and I thought I'd hate the color, but those images are deceptive as hell. It's actually kind of a dark blue, but it's got an almost metallic finish that makes it look like a lighter blue under really bright lights.
