HomeTown Story
Natsume, a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, today revealed the official name of 'Project Happiness' as Hometown Story. This kicks off a promise made to bring a new type of game to a global audience, which Natsume will be bringing to loyal fans in North America, with Rising Star Games publishing the title in Europe.
"Hometown Story is the perfect name for a game with such a heartwarming feeling, and we're excited to begin revealing more about the game, alongside ToyBox and Rising Star Games," said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume. "We're also pleased to confirm the game will be releasing on mobile platforms along with the Nintendo 3DS."
It's an experience that will fill you with motivation and magical memories! Developed by Yasuhiro Wada, the "Father of Harvest Moon," and his studio, ToyBox in Tokyo, Japan, Hometown Story takes players to a new fantastic world filled with color and hope. More information about the exciting new title from Yasuhiro Wada will be revealed up to and during E3 2013.
"Hometown Story is a game and a story that's dear to my heart - and I hope will become dear to the player's heart as well," said Yasuhiro Wada, CEO of ToyBox. "Our partnership with Natsume and Rising Star Games, who share our values on a quality gaming experience, is going to remain strong as we reveal more about Hometown Story throughout the year."
With a thorough mix of adventure, discovery, and wonder, Hometown Story aims to fill the hearts of gamers both young and old with an experience found in only a few other games, such as the lauded Harvest Moon series.
"We are very excited to be able to announce the game's official name and to launch a brand new global IP alongside our friends at ToyBox and Natsume," said Martin Defries, Managing Director of Rising Star Games. "Hometown Story will thrill and inspire our customers and it is wonderful to start a new journey with them and gain a generation of new customers through the launch of Hometown Story."
Needs a blasted deal on the 3DS XL already.
Not paying $199 for these things. The rumors of a flash cart bricking the 3DS XL were just that -- rumors, right? Pondering trading in my DS Lite since there'd be no reason to own one that I could think of.

Pokemon fans will get a jolt of excitement when Nintendo releases the Pikachu Edition Nintendo 3DS XL handheld system on March 24. This bold yellow Nintendo 3DS XL hardware features a familiar outline of the iconic Pokemon. The system also comes packaged with a 4GB SD memory card and will be available while supplies last at a suggested retail price of $199.99.
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity launches the same day as the Pikachu Edition Nintendo 3DS XL system, and draws players in with a deep and compelling story full of unexpected twists. While playing as one of five popular Pokemon, players travel through a near-infinite amount of randomly generated Mystery Dungeons, battle and recruit other Pokemon and collect hidden treasure. The game is available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS and includes the ability to discover Magnagates - entrances to new dungeons - by scanning everyday circular objects with the Nintendo 3DS Camera. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is available at a suggested retail price of $34.99.
Nintendo is offering a special bonus for people who buy both a Nintendo 3DS XL system and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Anyone who registers a Nintendo 3DS XL system and either Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity or Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon with Club Nintendo between March 21 and April 30 will receive a code to download one of five Nintendo 3DS games for free: Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, Star Fox 64 3D or Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!
looks nice
I want the charizard one to come to NA >_< I would definitely get the system just for that.
Why is Pika's face so round. That alone turns me off.
Seconding the Charizard one
Pikachu also has huge nipples, what a turnoff.
Alll my wants, but we'll never see it.Spoiler: show

Good lord, they never fail to shaft North American with sub-par shit-editions. That Pikachu graphic looks like a $5 decal slapped on the lid of a white case. Next to the Charizard edition, this is embarrassing.
So far, the closest I'd come to buying a 3DSXL if I knew that Pikachu graphic peeled off nicely so I could just hate a white case.
What's next, neon-green/fuscha polka-dots The Croods edition for the states while Japan gets some badass matte gunmetal Bravely Default edition?
/nerdrage.
I wonder if it will have some differences with the WII version or if it will be the exact same version
For those hunting a pikachu 3ds, heard stores are only getting 0-3 consoles each
And bestbuy is not selling them.
Good luck
