I think people are missing the point:

Flag the quest: Then get 3 merit points and obtain 5 KS.

You wont be able to just "turn in" 5 Seals and 3 Merit points.

The 3 merit points will be easy, but 5 Seals per person per party will take a while >.>.

Are you speculating? Because the description doesn't specify whether you need to have 3 merit points saved up or need to go and earn 3 more after you start it.

If this is true: Fucking awesome. I saved six merits because I thought this might be it. Also, I didn't feel like dumping them into PUP or NIN.

It won't be awesome if you find out you have to get 5 KS and 3 merits once you have flagged the quest and any merits you already have don't count!

If it is true and you need to aquire 3 merit points after (not before) then that's fine its 30,000 exp no biggie , but you can just go to shami and get 5 seals back that you had stored, not like square is gonna keep track where they come from.

No it's a typo I made...SE changed the icons of everything so im having to rush thru a lot of things, but I can assure you that the relics still have the same jobs associated with them.

That wouldn't make sense at all, because if you are capped like me and have 10/10 merits and 9999/10000 exp you can't get any more merits. Unless I deleted some and reused. You probably just use 3 stored merits.
