If they're zipped into proper ROM etc folders (assuming they would be), then just extract into the FFXI folder and it'll merge them. Choose to move and replace conflicting files, voila!

To confirm this works, you will have "Play" greyed out right now after extracting my files to the proper inventory and checked them after launching POL up.

If anyone can actually confirm this works we can make a new thread for people who still have trouble to get this downloaded.

I don't actually have an active account, but using check files it still said I had 1330 something corrupt files (no mods, clean install) after using that zip...

Edit: NA POL. Was patched up to date before today.

extracted the data and replaced the DAT's with the one given here. Still doesnt work, now update starts again at 0% and stays there for a looong ass time.

i use EU POL... till don't get it. it actually never works. Even if i backup the DAT's and replace them after a small part of Update it still updates all files which is totally fucked up.

Mirrored Hezzel's file, this was tried and tested and will work. Sorry for the previous file, my computer wizardry skills are not up to date it seems.

Probably just an error in how he collected files, outside some menu items they all use the same DAT's.
