    How do you time out to slimes? That shit takes like 10 minutes even with 18 people <.<

    inexperienced? idk last time we attempted WoE was when it first came out, and I've been reading through this thread loosely, but talking to the crowd of people I go in with is like speaking Spanish in a public school in Iowa.

    With proper sacs, you only have to kill the 4 big slimes, and those are easy; you shouldn't have more than 2-3 deaths in the run outside of the sac, and that's due to random fluid spreads that do 1500 instead of 200-400 when shadows are down.

    Is it normal after the death of a Morbid Molasses for a small slime to head directly to the alliance? It wasn't really a problem to just hold one but still weird none the less.

    After one of those dies, there should be 4 small slimes and the next molasses heading towards you.

    This Hydra is a bit toned down but beefed up in other ways

    He runs hella slow, less than normal movement speed. The wyverns run faster than normal movement speed though. It is very easy to get to hydra without any aggro. Hydra can be pulled or wyverns pulled and beaten down one at a time. The death spot aggro thing exists in this zone too but only one baby came. This needs more testing however. I have successfuly brought hydra 90% of the way to my LS without links. I feel so proud /cry.

    The hardest part is killing Hydra. He is easy to kite, but need enough people/jobs. Garudas can be used to deal with links

    Hydra does not have his regen trait. He stayed at 90% HP (During wipes lol). Unless regen kicks in at a lesser percentage, safe to say he has no regen, even with 3 heads.

    He also casts Aeroga3 but he is suseptible to stun. I dont know about other debuffs, but elegy landed easily without full gear lol.

    we didnt have an optimal setup. rdm/drk would be cool for this.

    general debuffs (paralyse, poison, curse) caught the mages as well as melee (i can tell from screenshot the mages did not keep their distance... -_- hence no stuns. the Ga3 spells wiped us when we were all debuffed.

    we also didnt have a tank in the main allys :D so it was just a research run


    other than that, its easy peasy.

    I've always found that hydra mobs are one of those mobs that's actually a lot easier just to low man. Can you nuke this one or is it resistant to magic? Does it have draw in?

    It's TP moves seemed very very strong, saw Trembling and possibly Barofield both do high figures (saw some well over 1000 dmg but this may have been to mages). Aeroga did 900 to one rdm when we were wiping, didn't seem overly powerful if it was spread to more people, but it's easily stunnable (no fast cast effect).

    As for BLM nukes, because it was casting Aeroga, I casted a few Ice spells. My BLM is gimp these days, but a ES Blizzard IV in average gear with full ice merits and full ele magic hit it for 310 dmg. Any nuke I casted without ES got heavily heavily resisted. So yeah it's more like real Hydra as opposed to Tinnin.

    Fight was pretty easy with RDM/DRK 2 houring. We killed the Wyverns, worked our way down the stairs picking them off 1 or 2 at a time. Cleared them, got to boss, RDM/DRK 2 houred, every one else 2 houred, it was fine until about 20% or so. I died and had to step away, which is the first pic.

    Wasn't 1 LS, it was me from CoK, Karasu LS, a few JPN (Shan from FinalFellow LS, and a few random JPN buddies of his) and a couple other random people. All good players, so things went extremely smooth. Great team effort between NA, JPN, and a ton of random LSs. Titan server BTW.

    Is it easy to sac pull Hydra? Or is it worth just clearing out all the wyverns first? Tried to semi low man this yesterday and screwed it up a bit so didn't get time to test stuff.

    If you LS needs more people, I can hop on my 80RDM (or 75smn/sch/lolpup >.>) and assist on future runs. I barely log on since I'm tired of old content, and never anything happening with shouts in WG all day. Would like to see how Echoes ends up next update since this is just the beginning apparently....

    Beat slimes with 13 ppl including sacers (2 ppl sac pulling) 12 from LS and 1 random SMN/WHM that sneaked in, we had a wipe at the begining but still managed to clear with 3mins to spare on our 1st try ever as LS. I don't know what the rules for drops are... but we got alot of loot, tekko, 2 Hmp capes, like 4 gems for the new rings/earrings, a forest of beech logs, 3 Dorium ores, a few deathstones and scrolls. I'm guessing the new +6stat rings/+3earring are going to be so dirty cheap as soon as ppl start low maning this.

    Honestly I don't know. It was our second attempt at it, and I wasn't there for the first try. Maybe we just got lucky but the wyverns were far enough apart that we weren't fighting more than 2 at once, so killing them all wasn't a hassle.

    Regardless, I wouldn't low man this one. Obviously it's possible but there isn't much margin for error, and if 1 or 2 big damage AOE get through you're done. I think we had 25, around that number.
