What would be a good way to get my whole linkshell into doing walk of echoes? I'm trying to get everyone on board but not everyone is interested. I know that it would be awesome to get everyone stuff from here but its hard selling the idea to most of them seeing as half the shell isn't working on the trials for the coins. Bleh

there is a lot of gil to be made in Walk of Echoes, just make a sell/split on all gear no one wants, when they find out it all sells for like 300-1M(depending on item) I'm sure they'll come around, this is how I got my LS into doing WoE, quiet a few people want some of the gear but they figure gil > gear which is good cause then the pool for each run builds higher :3

What sells for 300 mil? O.o Probably just an exaggeration but looking quickly most things in WoE are like under 1 mil now.

true, most things are under a mil now, but when you can get up to 4 austerity belts in the main treasure pool, let alone 5 personal coffers, (for example) thats when it adds up. Its quick to get to, cheap and takes a fraction of the time of other gil making events. And its fun! No xp loss and you can merit! !! Its the opposite of dynamis, whats not to love <3

You have to move from the spot the last one died at. Crabs and the boss will patrol up to that spot. This is also true of antlions if you low man that area. Kill the crab in the corner when you enter, step back towards the Conflux. Wait for one to come down and pull it to the Conflux. Or if it's 2+ mobs sac pull one. Sometimes no mobs will come to patrol and you have to sac pull the 4 at the top of the stairs. After you kill the mob at the Conflux, move across from there towards the edge, behind the buses. Alternate between those 3 spots for a while. When mobs stop coming down head up stairs and repeat the process in 3 different spots.

Depends. It's random. 0 can drop, or 5. Anything in between. You gotta keep at it though. 18 is every mob. That's kinda rare to clear the whole zone and 0 coins drop.

False. Normally 1-2 people would get a significant amount of coins per win. The zones can be low man farmed by virtually any job combination 24/7. WoE isn't popular enough for most people to get a consistent amount of coins via wins.

With groups reporting clearing Conflux 2 easily with 5-8 people, the best way to get coins is indeed to clear the chamber and win. That way, everyone can either get a personal crate with 0-3 coinpurses or have at it in the main lootpool.

Again, I disagree. 8 random people can't clear #2. Hell even 8 organized people probably can't clear #2. Low man clearing the zone is only realistic for a handful of players. I've won #2 with 9 people, it was fun and wasn't too hard. Do I think the average group of 9 could win? No.

For everyone else it's far quicker to low man farm the coins. If you have 7-8 people readily available to low man farm, by all means go for it. But I can't promote something as "the best way" if it's only the best for maybe 5% of the people doing it, and obviously not ideal for the people asking about duoing and trioing.

Yes. I agree that low manning is the best way since higher chance of getting coins since you don't have to lot against them. However if you win chambers higher chance of getting pouches in the chests then in pool killing adds. My Ls goes in with around 12ish people and most chambers aren't too difficult. We see most of our coins from pouches.

er #2 is pretty easy to clear with a small group. We have good but not uber pimped players and we manage just fine. Accessories keep mages happy, or if you're capped then you sell/split. Melee get coins. Don't see the issue.

melee get coins? I have no issue taking rank 3-5th on Bard.. could probably rank higher if I would be refresh II'd at all times.. but my Red Mage is usually a tard..

#2 is retard mode, 1 and 3 can also be done with <10. Downside is, #2 drops have gotten to be worthless on Levi since the nerf made every idiot capable of doing it(30k sasuke tekko, 70k felicitas, 100k austerity, 150k eidolon.. really?).
